As I understand it, lots of people just use their phones for almost all of their "computer stuff", like email, paying bills, etc. So maybe not so surprising. ding ding!! from my experience,,people in japan email each other as opposed to texting or PIN'ing with their mobiles.. so running a twitter profile from a mobile makes sense...

If there is a way to feed Mori's Twitter to your computer you can copy and paste the Japanese to Google translator. (That is if Mori uses the Twitter feature on his cell phone) To translate most languages including Japanese Google search has a fantastic drop down menu, on the top of the main search page click on 'more' it will drop down, then click on 'Translate', this is where I paste in Japanese characters and get decent English translations. Also here's a good tip: When you get to a Japanese site that you can't read and the 'translate' feature option is not in the search results copy and paste the Japanese website address into the Google search engine - it will then usually re-list the website in the search results with the add on 'Translate' feature, click on 'Translate' you can then read allot of the site in English.
