Post Re: Non- Vinyl American toys
I just started collecting this line, never had them as a kid. First one I got was Pirate Lion, just got Knight Owl and Triple Threat Snake. I really want to get Pugnacious Penguin, Sawtooth Shark, and a few others.

Sorta disappointed with the "revival" though.

He's ok, but just doesn't have the charm of the 80's line.

The Minimates Battle Beasts are not too great, the Minimates body just doesn't work. Series 1-3 are pretty much flawless and Laser Beasts are pretty cool too so I feel like they have no right picking up the line. If anyone is going to bring back Battle Beasts it should be in comic form, I wouldn't mind seeing a full color series.

Oh man, that giraffe is awesome...as is the crazy snake creature! You guys are making me want to start tracking more of these down. Let's see, only...104 more to go for a complete set, according to this checklist! (Plus the vehicles...)

That updated Mini-Mates version is...questionable. Kind of neat that the line is getting some attention, but I'm not sure I would have even recognized that as a "Battle Beast" if it wasn't labeled as such.

That's fucking doo-doo. A+ for effort...super-articulated Battle Beasts would be kinda hot...but where's the fucking rub symbol? Where's the charm? And a crummy plastic bag for packaging? Damn.

Random- I just saw a Japanese auction for some old Where's Waldo? books. Apparently in Japan they were titled "Search for Wally!" Not quite as catchy.

I wonder if they changed his name because in Japanese "Waldo" would become "Warudo," which sounds like a villain's name (Walder).

In Mexico he's called Wally too. '¿Dónde está Wally?'. Not sure of the reason though!

Got this in the post this morning, made by Sprig, manufactured from recycled plastic and reclaimed wood chippings.

i've never been much of a vehicle guy when it comes to action figure collecting, but i recently snagged this toxic crusaders smog cycle on ebay (still waiting on it though). i can't wait to get my bonehead figure on it! that toy line is awesome. mixes my two favorite things: "oozy" monsters and neon colors...

I have a handful of vintage BB if you are possibly interested in swapping that NY Toy Fair 2010 silver & green BB MM. I have 2 friends that need that version and I have been trying to trade my 2 extra black & gold C2E2 BB MM for 2 silver & green NY Toy Fair BB MM...but, no luck.

Just email me @ thegodbeast@mchsi.com if you are interested and I will shoot you photos.

Here is a much better checklist/guide that I built w/ the owner of this site. 90% of the toys in the photos were from my collection.
