Well, that ain't saying much, perhaps. It is all "relative" though, just like Einstein's Theory.

I followed that link and saw the 36" White [expletive deleted] Bear - a bargain at $1000, with shipping an additional $500!!! Ulp!

Haha opposite tastes I guess. I don't like it. And this is coming from a guy that owns most of Kozik's stuff.
The 36" is so awesome. Has anyone seen the 7' Biskup Helper? I want one of those on my roof....

I noticed that too
Although, taking into account what that [expletive deleted] weighs it probably evens out a bit.

shipping on that 36" [expletive deleted] is bullshit. the shipping on the gigantic [expletive deleted](the 5 foot one, i believe?) from tower records was something like 50 or 60 bucks

yes, but the 36" is likely shipping from asia. given how big and heavy the package would be (it would be too big for EMS), i don't think 500 is particularly unreasonable. have you seen ups international rates?

For $500, you could buy it a seat on an airplane! (Although TSA might not know how to handle it.)

UPS rates are $$$, but EMS is just as fast (and reliable) and probably 1/4-1/6 the cost (would have to know the exact weight to verify this, plus there's the possibility that the package is too large to send via EMS or other post office shipping options).
If 8" Toy2R products were more reasonably priced (say around $50), they'd pique my interest more often. I just can't get into dropping bill after bill on ABS platform toys.

Exactly what I thought. I could probably get a cheapo flight and fly over and pick him up for that.
TOY2R = Gouge2R
Raymond was so much fun to deal with at SDCC, despite spending a small fortune in pre-orders I got pretty crappy treatment.
I quite like the anarchy dog, but $100 + $20 shipping = no
Like that GID Clockwork Orange style Toyer a lot more tho.

good to know it wasnt just me that got treated that way.
what a sheisty fuckin company. he tried 2 different days to give me the "we ran out, this is the only one we have left" story...which the only one left was a crushed soto [expletive deleted] box(that i had pre-ordered and pre-paid for). finally on saturday he came with about 50 more of them in pristine boxes. i guess he just found them in his hotel room. must be one huge fuckin hotel room to just find 50 8" egg [expletive deleted]

I wasn't really trying to say I thought $500 was unreasonable, I really think it is totally too high.
I ordered the pink Jled piece from Toy2r, and when it came it was crammed into a box that the [expletive deleted] fit into with no room on either side, and no padding at all. One corner was a bit pushed in on the box, which after spending that much money on did annoy me a bit much.
But yeah, they do ship from Hong Kong and it does come EMS, not UPS.
Gouge2R sounds about right though, the mini figures they were pre-selling had $10 shipping for each. It seems they could have combined the shipping if you order more, doesn't seem to be the case though
