Classic 80's American toymaking right there... Back then, holograms were the future with so many toys incorporating them. Remember Visionaries (Knights of the Magical Light)? BRING BACK THE HOLOGRAM!!

I'm wondering if they produced them cheap and off model just to have merch. out there. At the time it probably wasn't a big deal because they didn't know the show would be such a success. Now I just love how bootleg they look.
