Oh shit--good eye! I totally shoulda caught that. Yeah, the Supernaturals were pretty hot. Friggin hologram embedded in an action figure? Oh, hell yeah!

Classic 80's American toymaking right there...

Back then, holograms were the future with so many toys incorporating them.

Remember Visionaries (Knights of the Magical Light)?

BRING BACK THE HOLOGRAM!!

Absolutely. That cartoon's intro drove me nuts as a kid!

Now, the question is...what Japanese toys, if any, incorporated holograms? Jim? Mark?

I picked up this pendant from Super7 this past weekend.
Does anybody know who it is?
I forgot to ask Alex when I was in the shop.

I don't even like the Flintstones but that vintage set is really cool. So is Frankenstein.

weird Brenda. I was just looking at two of those Flintstones vinyls at a local shop last night.
I debated buying them, along with a weird Donald Duck as well.

Those Flintstones are legit HB releases too. They're dated 1960, same year as the show debuted. I'm wondering if they produced them cheap and off model just to have merch. out there. At the time it probably wasn't a big deal because they didn't know the show would be such a success. Now I just love how bootleg they look.

The first episodes were black & white, so that may explain the off-colors...as for the sculpts, well, that's just laziness!
