 Re: Gargamel at SDCC
I truly wish I had been able to pick it up but you know what, even if I would have been first in line I would have passed it along. The person who picked up gave it a great home.

edit: Yes, I see it now in their SDCC haul pic. Good for them. Glad it stayed within the SB community.

Got an answer from Gargamel: left-over customs seem to have been brought back to Japan and are available!

The Katope detailing doesn't work on every monster, but I would loooove a Katope detailed tank!

You should double check your order. To the best of my knowledge Gargamel doesn't sell online outside of Japan. petitetoilonrouge wrote: JAY wrote: petitetoilonrouge wrote: Got an answer from Gargamel: left-over customs seem to have been brought back to Japan and are available! Re: Gargamel at SDCC
I got this amazing zag by Naoya. It was luckily there until the last day of sdcc. It might have been sitting around because people were broke by the time it came up, or maybe it's the odd color, or something else. Either way I love it, 1 of my top 2 zags of the sdcc releases and really happy to get it. I really like the unexpected color combination that you would never see on a regular release zag, and how the eye color is mirrored onto the rest of the bodies colorway.

 Re: Gargamel at SDCC
Naoya really is the best figure painter at Gargamel - that's a great Zag.

 Re: Gargamel at SDCC
Amazing indeed! Naoya always have an unpredictable take on colors. The base grey that's left unpainted almost look like is sprayed on brown instead. And he consistently let the blue and yellow overlap to create the green line. Superb control.

That is really incredible! What a stunning example! The way the paint motif is carried through as well as the color choices, just amazing!

The fade from grey to brown is seamless and makes the grey look like it's the vinyl color too. I really like the sublte thin lines of green, it's a very nice detail.

You can actually think that the vinyl base is blue, too. Awesome choice!
