Yeah, it will be interesting to see if they maintain a consistent price for each one or if they will vary by size (like less for the Jawa and more for Chewie).

As it is now, getting all 15 figures they've shown will cost $1,360, and if they make a red and blue Snaggletooth and the Death Squad Commander, that's definitely over $1500 you'll be spending.

Thats the only thing keeping me from buying this one.....I can't get involved with anything that much unless it's vinyl, from Japan and has M1 stamped on it's foot.

Hah, that looks VERY cool, actually. Really tempted to get one.

Wasn't it a SBer's friend/acquaintance who helped design this?

OK- I was not much into the blown up trooper because the dimensions seemed a little off.
But the Hammerhead, Greedo and Jawa look really good. Boba Fett looks pretty good as well.
Must not get involved in this....

I hope the blow ups are released slowly one every couple months or so. I could handle that. All at once and I probably wouldn't even bother. God damn these would look great all together on my shelf

That AT-AT blew my mind. Once we get into our new place this is an absolute must!! I'm really glad I tracked down the Snowtrooper I was after at SDCC.

Does anyone on here collect Star Wars Kubricks? I'm looking for a few was hoping I could turn to the board instead of EVILbay.

I had to pick up that AT-AT at the local TRU today. Too awesome to pass up. Can't wait to put it together. I also picked up the Galactic Heroes AT-AT for my son. He's only 3 months old now, but I want to make sure to pick cool stuff up now for him while its available! Wait til I pull out the behemoth AT-AT for him when he's old enough. Maybe I'll just have to play with it in the meantime. :D

I've got to hit up my local TRU. That Galactic AT-AT is rad and my 18 month old will love knocking it over and stepping on it.

That's what the rebels needed on Hoth: a giant baby to knock over and step on the AT-AT's!

Hasbro has done a slight redesign on the speeder bike (battlepack w/ plo koon ver) but it still has my least favorite feature, the spring loaded feet that trigger the vents in the back. About time they could just make it float (see quote above).

The At At is only $100? I haven't seen one at Tarjay yet, maybe I'll make a pilgrimage up to TRU. The new figures are great too. The new Dengar really puts some jazz in the old man's step. He's steppin' out, brand new day, lookin' good Dengar, slick duds, best-lil-dengar-in-texas & he's got removable crotch armor. Nuff said.

Yep, $100 for the AT-AT. I thought it would be priced similarly to the Falcon that came out a couple of years ago, but I'm happy to see it's lower.

That new Dengar is amazing. I picked one up a couple of weeks ago and I can't believe how good it looks in person. I went in to TRU on a lunch break and was able to get all 6 ESB bounty hunter figures: dengar,4lom,boba fett vintage collection and bossk,ig88,zuckuss saga legend. I've been wanting to get all the bounty hunters to display together for awhile now (last time I had them all was kenner as a kid) and I'm glad I waited since this release has the best sculpts yet. I was really happy to get them during one trip to the store!

Gentle Giant Stormtrooper - If I could have afforded it I would have got one. I was surprised they still had them for sale on Saturday.

Hasbro vintage style Snow Speeder - I love they are doing this repo packaging!

Hey Hank,
Did they say what store the vintage packaging was exclusive to? I think it's TRU, but they currently just have the regular boxes.

Maybe they'll get the vintage box ones after 10/1 since it says 10/1 release on the card in your pic? They supposedly are doing the AT-AT with vintage packaging too. Can't wait to see that.

I actually like the Ewoks too and I like that they ate people and banged on severed stormtrooper heads as drums in celebration of their victory.

Unsure if it's already been covered but they are also starting to release the OG scale figures in repro Kenner packaging . . . initially a couple of Bounty Hunters but Vader, Fett, Solo and Skywalker backing cards were being thrown around the booth as freebies so I imagine they won't be far away!

So what's with all the repro packaging and reissue old school trooper? I'm out of touch with recent Star Wars?!
Is it just few exclusives or are they releasing a selection?

That AT-AT is huge! Saw this while flickring earlier -

Sexy AT-AT's, but wait a second. The one they are releasing is the Hoth AT-AT, not the Endor AT-AT. Was there a size difference in the films?

Post Re: The Star Wars Toy Thread.
Got the Gentle Giant Stormtrooper and it's a disappointment. It does not have the same construction as the Kenner toy (styrene body halves and solid vinyl limbs), the entire thing is rigid but hollow vinyl with a matte finish that doesn't match the shine of the original figure. You can hold it up to the light and see through it. It's like a weird bootleg.

The detail on the figure is soft, apparently they didn't do any cleanup on the design after they scanned it and scaled it up. The figure doesn't hold the rifle well, either. You just put it in the hand and it just sort of flops there.

And best of all, mine broke twenty minutes out of the box. It was just standing on my desk and fell over while I reached for something. The left hand popped out of the socket. Apparently it was glued in there.

I'm not getting any more of these. Whoever wants mine can have it for $100 shipped (via USPS plus Delivery Confirmation within the US). I'll even throw in a tube of super glue to fix the hand. Send me a PM.

DONE WITH TOYS.
