You see these collections where it's just an uninspired OCD line of figures.

I am such a dork I actually colled Ed Roth at home when those Rat Fink "Rad Rods" came out in the early '90s. There was a picture on the backing card of some old school SST type crash up set I could never find an when I called him he said they were only prototypes, never produced! How hardcore is that.

I've talked to Ed on multiple occasions. I go to a lot of car shows and he used to set up a booth at many of them. I always stopped by his booth to chat when he was there.
