Just finished my second kaiju custom tonight.

Another good looking custom.

Maybe you should consolidate your stuff into one thread if you are going to be posting stuff up this frequently.

this version needs to go into production asap. it is, by far, the best warubone i've seen.

and yes, it would be nice to be able to see all your current and future customs in a single thread. single posts tend to get lost and contribute to clutter, too.

Although I won't have the chance to do another kaiju custom for a bit, since I need to get some show customs done first. Which is cool, but sucks at the same time now that I have tha kaiju bug haha.

I messed with a lot of different colors for the face and after a few hit and misses the green seemed like the perfect fit to make the face really *pop*

Got the gloss coat on this mini Hedoran last night.

It looks a big rough and rushed compared to the Warubone. I know Hedos have that rough and toxic thing going on, but with the dry-brushing, this one just looks pumped out with some color as quick as possible. Take some time with each figure to try something new. The goal isn't just to get color on every figure as fast as possible.

It is true that I was going with a rougher feel on this one, but I actually didn't rush. Yet if that's how it appears, then I definitely missed my mark on this one. I'll revisit this and correct it. I was also debating on a wash for this one too. Thanks for the crit, really appreciate the honesty and I'll make sure to go back and correct the look.

Prometheum5's comments have made me want to push further with this custom, so I'm going to strip it down and start anew. Still learning the tricks and tactics to painting these toys, but enjoying it every step of the way.

I just finished my Halloween Hedoro Series last night for the Little Monsters show. I had a change of plans and ditched the Hedoran for the GID Boy Karma. I had to ship them this morning, so I didn't have the chance to pick up a black light for glowing pics. I know that these will be in the Little Monsters online shop, but I'm not sure when they're launching the site. I do know if you're interested in any of these and live in the San Fran area, you should stop by and check out the show at Million Fishes gallery this Sunday. As with all of my kaiju right now, these are hand painted.

i like how the multiple layers of slime turned out on boy karma. the unusual layering is pretty unique. what happened to the hedoro? its progress was looking so good before.
