Kaiju is all about fight, brawls, mayhem and destruction. This is probably why the battle theme had to be the central subject of the 3rd exhibition on "Le Studio Plastique".

Here comes "The 100 greatest Kaiju battles".
LAST 10 DAYS !

C77, Kevlo9, melek_taus, nefasth, petitetoilonrouge, prometheum5, Winu, zincsaucier442 and myself grabbed their camera and managed to produce a hundred pics especially on this theme.

I decided to divide the works in 9 thematic chapters rather than regrouping them by photographers.

We hope that you'll enjoy the exhibition as much as we had fun making it !

Great fun, some truly amazing pictures! But I think my fave has got to be "Traffic Light Bros." - so dynamic it really makes the figures seem alive. Tonneran's panicked expression is priceless!

I really enjoyed working with you all on this exhib ! This was great fun (and some amount of work).

I thought that thematic entries would be more dynamic than series by photographers. It adds to the variety of the presentation.

@ bunnyboy : you are too kind. Tonneran & Kuruma both rank really high in my most favored toys. Classic Vs Modern in its best way.

Thanks Kingboy ! I tried to create various classical settings for Kaiju battles. The choice of opponents came as the drawings were advancing, so nothing was decided from the start.

The exceptions being the forest setting, which I especially designed with the Barom-1 demons in mind and the highway setting as I've always wanted to oppose Tonneran with Kuruma Ni Kurasu.
