 RIP Satoshi Kon This really REALLY sucks. Quote: Satoshi Kon, a highly acclaimed Japanese anime director, died suddenly of cancer on Monday evening, said UK Anime Network News. He was 47.
Kon is best known for being the director of Perfect Blue, Pakrika, Millennium Actress, and Tokyo Godfathers.
