 Re: New Elegab sculpts!
I was very surprized with the size of the Oil Shock. It is quite large. Taller than the other kaiju from Elegab. I am glad I purchased both colors because seeing them in hand I still cannot say which one is better. Amazing stuff from Nari.

I sent an email for the new oil shock, but haven't heard back. Do they send you a paypal invoice? If anyone can give me info that would be great.

Pre-orders for the Oil Shock were open in early July and ended around the 21st of July. If you got your pre-order in then you should have received a paypal invoice. If you sent a request email recently your probably out of luck for this round. Usually one or more of his releases show up in the BST forum so keep your eyes open.

I didn't know there was a new version up. You are totally correct about the Sept 6th deadline on the GID version. You should receive a paypal invoice soon. Good luck! This new version is hot and comes with a free mini to boot.

 Re: New Elegab sculpts!
Hey guys, I'm new to SB but have been hangin around the toy break and KR forums for a while (took forever to get my SB account activated). First post! Found Elegab through KC and I totally dig the bizarre sculpts and new vibe that this guy is putting out. I'm putting in my order for the Oil Shock Black Head in the next 2 days!!! So pumped. Any one know how big that guy is or maybe have a pic next to another toy? (not Elegab since I don't know the size of ANY of their sculpts ) Looking forward to becoming a regular here! Colin

Colin Hi Colin - nice first post - altho purists dont like signed posts - but whatever. The other thing is - despite KR forums being an entry point for many of us to the exciting and wallet breaking world of kaiju - we like to pretend we've never been near that forum - so you should too. Yeah - so good to see some Fresh Meat Elegab love. This figure is big - think Maine Lobster big - The Department of Fisheries and Wildlife opened mine in transit, and boy they must have been suprised. I can only guess what they do when they see a Larvagon in the mail - BUT I digress. Elegab one man army Nari is a joy to order from - just make sure to follow the instructions and he'll keep you up to date and provide tracking info when he mails it. Awesome - and away u go!

I only signed my name cuz it was my first post and figured I'd be legit about it As for KR, I felt out of place. Ran into some douchebags. so I'm more of a local on the ToyBreak forum. I'm also trying to secure my first Bemon... hope they look gnarly together. Maybe a Smog King to follow?!

Just ask the Wanted section... they're one of only five toys made if you look there. Full disclosure, I own one mixed parts... it's fine, but I don't think it's the second coming or anything.

HEY im no Fresh Meat! lol well 9 months of collecting can be considered a Fresh Meat. I'm really trying to get into large gnarly kaiju pieces - Elegab and Bemons are right up my alley. How the hell does Nari keep coming up with such great sculpts and monster ideas?!

we should put it on a platter and present it while we're at it.

 Re: New Elegab sculpts!
I'm still considered as a Fresh Meat around here but it's just like in the real world first impressions make everything. Back in the day I heard they used to be hard on fresh meats so people used to lurk and learn the way the board works and the banter that is used.

 Re: New Elegab sculpts!
Welcome to Skullbrain Colin. didn't anyone warn you about us? lol..... do your research, ask good questions, contribute when you can (just not links to live auctions). It's a minefield of written and un-written board etiquette to follow. when in doubt, send me or another mod a pm with your newbie question. i'm happy to help and not jump on your case.
don't buy into the Bemon / Anraku hype. collect what you like.
ps: when caught in the crosshairs, best not to respond. just walk away.

As far as the Bemon goes... its been growing on me ever since zincsaucier442 started a thread about them over on ToyBreak. At first I couldve sworn it was sculpted by Helen Keller but it grew on me until I decided I'd try to get one. I never knew they were a big deal til I came over here. Keepin my eyes and ears open guys
