So Crazy Japanese Toys- great pics of historic toys I can't afford
Kaiju Encyclopedia- it's new(ish) & has coverage of a variety of operations like Elegab. Ilanena, as well as some classics... a good sampling book to find more stuff to spend money on.

Re: Kaiju Books Kaiju Encyclopedia is great! And I also like Tokyo Underground. Its not necessarily about kaiju, but some cool pics and tidbits in there.... but I know theres a lot of legit Japanese books about kaiju, but I dont know any nor know their names, but Im sure someone else here can drop some knowledge on that

Re: Kaiju Books I used to have the So Crazy Japanese Toys, it's definitely pretty cool. I think I sold or traded it a while back though  Mel: The Mook is a perfect starter book if you're into the older kaiju toys, Secret Base fight figs or RealxHead.

Re: Kaiju Books I have about 25 Japanese toy books.None are in English.I havent got a clue what they are talking about.But I could always use some more... Here are a few.Ill post more later. The Beautiful Book of Monsters Part 1 Chock full of Bullmark in glorious full colour.  The ChogokinPopy chogokin.Not as good as the Green Arrow Popy book, but two Popy books are always better than one.  Ultra Q CollectiblesNice vintage kaiju and memorabilia. Some I am obviously familiar with, others not. I want to start to immerse myself and need some titles to go on. I have the Mook (I too am looking forward to #2) and a couple of the others, but I want to find some new titles that are in greater depth.

I certainly didn't mean to offend you at all.  I am on the fence about Full Vinyl as well. But I think the Encyclopedia still works because it's mostly kaiju oriented. Again, sorry if I offended you. Was not my intention and I do appreciate the input. I'd like to think this thread is for the community and not just me.
