Post Anybody know how to edit DVD's together?
Sorry I know this kinda random so I put it in the whatever section... Does anybody know how to edit parts of different DVD's together? I have some 70's trailer compilation dvd's and I want to add some of those trailers to the beginning of some of the great old exploitation classics and have "42nd Street night" complete with trailers and all on one disc. Is this possible without spending 1000's on editing equipment/ software?

if you google for "ffmpeg" you'll find free resources for whichever platform you're on. there are entire editing suites built on top of ffmpeg, but most of them require lots of diy spirit to get going :) if all you need is something to decrypt/decode the DVDs to a format you can import into a video editor you already own and use, it'll be a lot easier.

good luck!
