Re: Which Video Games Are You Currently Playing?
Don't know if anyone has tried it. But i got Ruse for the 360 at the weekend, and it's the first RTS on a console, that i havn't felt i need to be playing it on the PC. Really simple interface, and very fast. If you like WW2 and a bit of strategy, you should like this. I think Modern Warfare 2 has given me a heart mumor. It stresses me out so much. Me and my pals have been system linking Left 4 Dead 2. I'd never played it before. What a laugh. "Don't shoot the witch", "ah shit, i shot the witch..........come get me up"

Re: Which Video Games Are You Currently Playing?
Nate and I were playing Borderlands on co-op counting down to Reach.
Then when Plants vs Zombies dropped in the Arcade I snatched that up. I am just trying to do Survival Endless and so far I got to wave 11. T____T
Now that Reach is out Nate's hogging the 360 but he's playing with his brothers so all is good. Just need to sneak in and do my Plants vs Zombies when I can.

I like the whole open world feel, and I feel like the way you skate and pull of tricks is a lot more fluid than in Jet Grind Radio. Both of em are still incredible games though.

~Maddie How are you finding Borderlands? We had a go at the campaign, but it was really samey, especially the enviroments. And the weapon thing was'nt enough to grab us. We all ended up going solo, back on Fallout 3.

When we used to all play "teh Haloz" we would socialize a lot, it was usually "ahhh your full of shit," but it was always good times to yell at each other from across the room. L4D you have to talk, otherwise your teammates are going to die, I hated playing on-line and watching some guy go ahead only to be pounced on by a hunter.

The hardest part is finding a solid team. BUT once you do it's worth it. I find more people willing to talk and work together w/L4D then any other online FPS I've played. It seems those of us who love it stick it out and just kick non-talkers till we find someone. Even if they screw up, as long as they're talking and being part of the team, it doesn't matter. Such and unselfish game in that sense, I love it. No room for heroes.

Re: Which Video Games Are You Currently Playing?
The irony is that on versus I actually rarely communicated. Which meant we usually lost.

I also hate when someone thinks they're "communicating" when all they're doing is saying what they're doing at that moment. "I'm in this room" or "I'm going on the roof" generally followed by the rest of the team yelling "NO DON'T DO IT ALONE WAIT! AW NOW YOU'RE DEAD!"

vinylhammer wrote: How are you finding Borderlands? Maddie and I were going through our second playthrough before I started playing Reach. New loot to find and the enemies are a lot tougher. I think I enjoy playing Borderlands more than Fallout 3 because its more straight forward then Fallout 3 as where you can pretty much roam anywhere you want. You can do the same in Borderlands but its not really necessary to progress through the game and finding the best loot. JoeMan wrote: Borderlands sucks. I got it used and returned it the next day. If you're playing solo, I can kind of see how it would suck, cause it does get pretty hard if you're on your own. It's a lot more fun if you're playing split screen co-op or online co-op, especially if each person is using different characters. With each characters different abilities, you can pretty much set up strategies on how to take on certain groups of enemies.

I am, however, exited about the new project with the Creator of No More Heroes, the Director of Resident Evil 4, and the Great Composer for the Silent Hill series, teaming up to Bring Shadows of the Damned.

Re: Which Video Games Are You Currently Playing?
Is anyone gonna get the PlayStation Move?
I was one of those rare people that was actually exited for it. I'm actually gonna buy Heavy Rain to use the move controls with it. Hopefully Resident Evil 5 works with it already and is not only limited to the Gold Version.
I was really disappointed with my Wii. Most of the games fell short of what they seemed like they would do, with exception of Resident Evil 4 and Zelda series (Maybe No More Heroes but I haven't played those games yet). Every other game seems like it would work even better with a normal controller just that they put in some random slash here or tilt there that the Sixaxis controller already incorporates.
Don't get me wrong I love Nintendo but the games that seem to be the most fun are the ones where you can use the controller in the classic (sideways) style. I was really into Super Paper Mario when my oldest Brother got it. You use the controller in the classic style, but then almost randomly have to point at the screen to use your helper and find necessary secrets. It's a great game but I was thinking the whole time, "Why would they do this? Not only do you have to worry about checking stuff in the 2D then sideways 2D views but now you also have to point at the screen every once in a while" It's tedious at times when you would miss something then have to go back and find it, but it was still a fun game.
