Re: Which Video Games Are You Currently Playing?
Anyone gonna play any of the new DLC for Left 4 Dead 2 tonight? I'll be on WAY late, like 12:30 CST. (xbox)
If you don't own L4D or L4D2 they're like $7 each for the PC or Mac today on Steam or $10 for both. I'm considering getting L4D2 for the PC since it's only $7 but I'm so deep into the XBOX version I feel like it'd be useless, but the mod maps are totally tempting!
Should I get it (even though I've ripped through the game on xbox and also couldn't play the pc version for another week once my pc is fixed) or should I just wait for part 3 whenever that hits?
EDIT: Guess I won't be jamming this on 360 tonight since it's getting delayed. It's sad how many people are screaming fits about it getting delayed like 1 day.

Re: Which Video Games Are You Currently Playing?
anyone down to trade some games? I have some I dont really play anymore and wouldnt mind sending em around to people who havent tried em yet. just figured id throw it out there.
ps3: uncharted 1 & 2 demon's souls valkyria chronicles metal gear solid 4 folklore
360: resident evil 5 dead space oblivion fallout 3
i like single player games if you cant tell, but dont mind getting down on some multiplayer. keep in mind im looking to just trade around on more of a "rental" basis, as i like to keep all my games if possible. anyone interested just pm me i guess

I just picked up L4D2 for the PC last night, it was so cheap I even bought it for a couple of my friends. It's still downloading so I haven't gotten a chance to try it out. Quick question, is the DLC free for PC and paid for 360? I never really understood that.

If you aren't familiar with Escapist Magazine you should check it out. By far my favorite feature is the weekly 'Zero Punctuation' review. Here's the latest one for Halo Reach: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/ ... Halo-ReachThe Escapist has been around for a while and has some of the best writing and insights on both games and the industry that makes them.

I was one of those rare people that was actually exited for it. I'm actually gonna buy Heavy Rain to use the move controls with it. Hopefully Resident Evil 5 works with it already and is not only limited to the Gold Version.
I was really disappointed with my Wii. Most of the games fell short of what they seemed like they would do, with exception of Resident Evil 4 and Zelda series (Maybe No More Heroes but I haven't played those games yet). Every other game seems like it would work even better with a normal controller just that they put in some random slash here or tilt there that the Sixaxis controller already incorporates.
Don't get me wrong I love Nintendo but the games that seem to be the most fun are the ones where you can use the controller in the classic (sideways) style. I was really into Super Paper Mario when my oldest Brother got it. You use the controller in the classic style, but then almost randomly have to point at the screen to use your helper and find necessary secrets. It's a great game but I was thinking the whole time, "Why would they do this? Not only do you have to worry about checking stuff in the 2D then sideways 2D views but now you also have to point at the screen every once in a while" It's tedious at times when you would miss something then have to go back and find it, but it was still a fun game. my beef with nintendo at the moment is the "WTF cloud" that forms over my head every time I think why can't I download duck hunt???area 51?hogan's alley?battleclash?operation wolf?even the aerosmith shooter the wii is a lightgun dream why must we be offered only nightmares???

I know if I get it that I won't actually play it on the PC for another week or 2 because I'm doing some stuff to me computer and setting up a new desk and all.

Re: Which Video Games Are You Currently Playing?
Hahahaha!! Hilarious. I can't say that I have the same reaction playing it as that video, but it's insanely addictive as most new FPS games that come out. I tell myself I'm going to only play for a few hours, but then I look over at the clock and notice it's 5AM.

Re: Which Video Games Are You Currently Playing?
I'm like that with L4D2. I feel like 30 min. passed maybe but it's been like 2-3 hours. Especially if the game is good. I never could get into Halo games, just not my thing.

If you get Team Fortress 2 for it we should play. I forgot to nab L4D2 on Steam when it was $7 so I'll be only on the XBOX right now. I also have "Killing Floor" which I haven't played but looks silly and violent and fun.

Re: Which Video Games Are You Currently Playing?
Dude, I SUCK at team fortress 2. Maybe if we could get a game together with a bunch of people who don't care I would be down for that. Plus it's not like TF2 is expensive. TF2 is cross platform right?

Re: Which Video Games Are You Currently Playing?
I've been so busy with working on the Monstars show this Friday that I haven't had time to look at the new patch for WoW....or advance my NHL11 season. Any feedback on the new patch? I'd ask if I'm totally screwed but I play a mage (like Van Damme...no really, I play a troll mage) so I'm always screwed.

Re: Which Video Games Are You Currently Playing?
Just hooked up my Genesis, SNES and NES (top loader ::smug::) so it's been all about Sonic 2, NBA Jam and Dr. Mario like a MUG! My N64 is actually missing the tv connector so I can't get cracking on WWF Wrestlemania 2000 for another few days. I'm tempted to get Sonic 4 as well, the series so classic.

Re: Which Video Games Are You Currently Playing?
Medal of Honor sucks. I had high expectations (I have been a MoH fan since the first game - not a COD fanboy), but I felt like I bought a watered-down version of Bad Company.
