Ah it's ok, I had booked it years ago when going to a Radiohead show at MSG and a friend mentioned we shouldn't stay there. Live and learn :D

Thanks for the 411 jeb. We were only thinking about Brooklyn because my wife's friend will be staying there too, part of the reason we're going. But again we'll be all over the place so being in the same area is not a big deal. Other than the convention we plan on eating the hell outa NYC like we usually do when we hit. Brains are on the menu this time. Not sure what else, but we like everything nose to tail, low end carts to high end farts so it'll be a blast. I got a weekend pass but I doubt I go more than 2 days, gotta lotta food to shovel into my face.

Just throwing out the idea (if anyone is interested), to defray trip costs, I'd be up for going in on a hotel room with someone. I do not snore.

Unfortunately Sep and Oct are high vacation months in NYC so hotel prices have skyrocketed for those months.

At least when they had the con in Feb the hotels were a lot cheaper.

Just stay close the the A, C and E trains and it should be an easy commute.

Jersey guys!!! Im from right outside of The city in hudson county. You have to remember that Giants stadium is 10 mins from NYC there are hotels all over the meadowlands that literally take 15 mins into the city and you can also take a train from Secaucus Junction in 5 mins. Im from Secaucus and it is covered in Hotels. I promise you wont be disappointed. If you have any questions Ill be glad to ask. Oh and the bus system is just as good as NJTransit. Seriously any questions just ask. Jersey to NYC is much easier Then LI to NYC. The javits center is on the west end of Manhattan. I keep forgetting to get my tickets too. Any Idea if theres going to be any real releases? or just all anime stuff?

Btw, where are you in Orlando? When I'm not at college, I'm in east Orlando, near Valencia CC.

That was the word . . . so far I've seen the green/yellow split version, orange/purple swirl and blue/red swirl.

i don't know if mine is considered green/brown or green/yellow. I don't think mine is yellow, seems more tan to me.
