The paint had some details that were so subtle they seem like they might be shadow. The NYCC Garamon's hepatitic yellow retina seemed to be slightly lighter than the tiny yellow iris which was almost invisible because of the hugely dilated pupil.
The paint at first glance seemed simple but on closer inspection turned out to be kind of awesome in execution.
Anyway all hype or fighting aside its only fair to admit that they're really cool toys. Now I probably need to get the Mishka Iggy Pop tribute Raw Power version.
