So who posted and fulfilled the Goro-Zag auction?

So the initial listing was a mistake and the hacker wanted a 3 day listing but instead chose 5 days so that they took it down then relisted it. With 1 day left on the relisted auction and a $1000 high bid they pulled it again.

Apparently this person has elite computer hacking skills but no grasp on the passage of time. Either that or possibly these things are infused with a powerful cocktail of hallucinogens that take effect after briefly handling the toy.

Block these people from their grails, desires, hallucinogenic cocktails, and delusions be prepared to hide...

For those who care, I did promise an update. I DID confirm everything with ebay late late last night...on hold in a line of 28 callers!!! The auction was pulled, and the account is being investigated. What is weird to me is that, to my knowledge, i've not made "enemies" with anyone here in 2 years. However, someone MUST have garnered information about my ownership of the Nag via this board. Moreover, there was no way this was intended to be a legit sale, I only say this because who ever f$%ked with the account changed all of the pertinent information in the profile, but because I have a different name/password for paypal, they couldn't change the payment traffic. Alas, if that auction ended, there would be no way the perp could get paid or the buyer get their goods!!

I woke up this morning, and I have a book of daily meditations I use for meditation each day. I found today's words eerily apropos: "I do not perceive any single hinderance other than the hinderance of ignorance. Obstructed through ignorance, humankind wanders on for a long time."

To answer this question akum6n, that was most certainly me. Notice, item location: Portland (where I live); language: English, unbroken; disclosure: full; as I offered the Zag both for sale and for trade here on SB for two months prior to ebay.

Its just that my greater sense of rationality is having a hard time swallowing it.
Personally I dont care if you flipped the thing...the manufactured marketing hype on this toy begs for it to happen imo. The method in which this toy has been released and dangled over collectors is what causes this temptation, you don't see this sort of ridiculous drama unfolding over blobpus or even bemon.

I don't disagree with you, evilrab. Trust me when I say that, aside from dealing with this strangeness over the past 12 hours, I nearly can believe it myself--no hard feelings to those who were giving the 3rd degree. I'll be interested what info, if any, ebay gets to me when they resolve the case.

But I really like the way Shigeru sell his toys, I think we can only win the lottery once so others can win it in future, unless you have collaboration work (not simply because he knows you or you chat with him).
So if you dont win this time, just wait and I'm sure that you will win in future and maybe you get a better release as we can see that his work/paint improve every new releases.
Don't think there better way of selling piece of art, it is not simply toy - you need to judge how the paint work on each nag3 when you win lottery and receive it. Then you will understand that there is no way to make it 100 or even 20.....

this statement is impossible as you can input ANY paypal address in the "Decide how you'd like to be paid" section of the first selling page when listing an item...it can be any paypal address (yours,,a hackers or even your grandmothers)

Yes unpainted, assumed that it was suppose to be painted by shigeru so it also made around 10. Since it takes so much time or work to do each version, I think shigeru was too tired so he just sell it as unpainted that why he labeled on the lottery as LAZY (too tired to paint just like every version)

edit: also it's only spray on a toy, he's not rembrandt - I bet rembrandt cant paint his work for 10 copy with similar paint work

Rembrandt could paint 10...Easy.

Rembrandt and his students tended to reproduce frequently the same drawings/etchings for practice. It was common to do that at the time.

I'm not trying to compare Rembrandt or others to Shigeru, what I mean is that its hard for toy maker to paint 10 or more edition toys with same painted job then doing a 1off custom/handpaint. Especially with highly detailed paint job.

not true. To say Shigiru's work is more detailed or more skillfully applied than the work of: rxh, secret base, bemon or blobpus etc. etc. is simply untrue. It's also worth noting a lot of the time it isnt even the artists applying these paint jobs. It's the "factories", and honestly i find secret base FHP's to be more impressive works of art than most of the nag releases with a few exceptions. I mean he's good but he's not AS good as your hype would have you believe. (of course that's just my humble opinon on the matter)

The question is do you like the way bemon distributed his toy? If I were shigeru, producing 10 or 30 will have the same hype for this toys since it really that good. Producing 30 will give me more money then only 10 so why did he only make 10? Why dont he sell it on ebay or YAJ? Labeled as [Official Auction] Yet I still buy Bemon since it great too
