 Jon Vermilyea's Resin STUMP figure
Not sure if you guys are too familiar with Jon Vermilyea. You can check out his website here: http://www.jonvermilyea.com/He has done a ton of stuff for Mishka, and also all the illustrations for the Goblin line. Well, I was out at APE last weekend in SF chilling at his booth, and realized he had made his own Resin toys, honestly, even though he is a friend of mine, I had no clue he made these! He really isn't a toy guy, but just really wanted to make a toy. I think it came out pretty sick for his first try, and I LOVE the header art. He had them under the table and wasn't even going to put them out, but I forced him two and he sold all 3 of them! He doesn't have any left, but if you guys are feeling them, he said he was going to make some more. Yes, its a Stump. Like a tree stump. Like its big, its heavy, its wood. Sorta. Yea!

toy, wrinkly plastic bag and header work well together. pastelle colors add to it. nice.

What rolls down stairs alone or in pairs, and over your neighbor's dog? What's great for a snack, And fits on your back? It's log, log, log
It's log, it's log, It's big, it's heavy, it's wood. It's log, it's log, it's better than bad, it's good."
Everyone wants a log You're gonna love it, log Come on and get your log Everyone needs a log log log log

Re: Jon Vermilyea's Resin STUMP figure
I definitely like the header card art.. the figures are sorta creepy, the pastel colors almost look like colored chocolate.
A nice art toy.

They look like Spongebob squarepants without arms and legs. Very cool.

Re: Jon Vermilyea's Resin STUMP figure
finally saw this figure. impressed by the size and price. I dig it but that's just because it's a recurring icon in Jon's work.
