I did see a photo where there appeared to be other versions of this toy.
I actually thought it was a caveman and that all the figures in the photo were cavemen...

I think you may be thinking of the Grumble Toy set cavemen, no? they're a lot smaller than this, about half size...and no articulation as far as I know. I got this dude, he's absurd in hand...very silly toy, but in a good way.
