Sorry for the double post, but i figure its warranted since most of you probably don't hit up the NYC forum too often..
anyway, my good friends are having a west coast screening of their documentary on the tokyo underground music scene "live from tokyo", hot off the success of their sold out screening at the asia society in manhattan. Its definitely an interesting film that some of you may enjoy and I'm not just saying that as a close friend of the directors..
there's also going to be a cocktail hour and simulcast after the screening with a few of the bands that are featured in the film..
