Now that all the SARS members have had your way with Bwan's customs , there's a few things left from the show up on Garamel's blog. Looks fairly picked over but a few good items left, including a Katope Boris and Globby that looks stunning.

Congrats on the Boris #1, Stevenohana, and Mooneater(and anyone else who scored) those were some of my top picks. Did anyone pick up a custom Randall?

Yeah, that Katope Boris is awesome! I didn't see any pics of those zags till now. I'm feelin the rib cage action. And the Randall petting the big cat painting is great.

I stuck to my program and picked up the pocket killer and krokus party painting.

Has there been a production Randall / Boris released yet?

There was a painted Randall and a unpainted clear green Boris release at Designer Con.

Gargamel also has the Clear Pink unpainted Boris.

I'm obviously a Fresh Meat around here, and still trying to get my bearings on Gargamel stuff… Is this a figure that you guys would guess will see lots of colorways down the line? Like how there's lots of versions of the Globby / Bangal Price / Ojo Rojo?

I wouldn't say there's that many versions of Globby around, compared to, say, Bwana's Sleeping Killer. But overall, yeah, kaiju companies tend to totally milk it with the colorways. The trick is not to get sucked in on more than a sculpt or two, if any...

For this series Gargamel seems to do an unpainted version first and then a painted version. Maybe the first run pays for the paint masks? I think I'll wait for a painted version of this guy.

If these two are the painted version, count me in for sure.

Next release is a rootbeer Randall in January.

pretty sure Rootbeer means a CLEAR rootbeer colorway.

I do recall asking Bwana that question as I like painted clear figures and he did indicate the Randall will be on rootbeer base and it will be painted.
