I agree, I wish David and Sun Min did more. Thats a lot for a sign a doodle. But man some of these customs are amazing I can't stop looking at them.

I wanna know what the biskup is going for

The Biskup didn't have a price. Supposedly it was a concept piece that was painted from the inside and then painted black on the outside. It was packed in a box with nails and during shipping, it was supposed to scratch the black paint off. Unfortunately it just didn't come out the way it was intended.

That's actually really awesome! Thanks for the info about it. That makes me want it even more. The first conceptual custom I've seen ha! As a big fan of art in general this makes really happy to see. I WANT IT!

yeh figured that biskup was conceptual something or other. i'm surprised the black paint was so unscratched, maybe he should have been more aggressive with the nails

wondering which ones will be left over

Tim Biskup should maybe try and put it through something like a bingo tumbler. That might work better, instead of hoping to see if it got scratched up enough during the shipping process.

CBS special . . . 'When Good Art Goes Bad' . . . Most are cool, some are lazy and a couple just plain suck!

The stand out pieces for me are Itokin Park's, Martin Ontiveros's and Kyoka Ikeda's . . . they all look well conceived and executed, and manage to put their own personal spin on things whist retaining the integrity of the base sculpt . . . . the one's that are lazy and suck is a slightly longer list!

Itokin Park's and Martin Ontivero's are definitely well executed! The pink on Martin's stands out nicely. But I also have to say I like Buff Monster's and Josh Herbolsheimer's Burgerbuns too.

Good choices Andy!

I like Bad Acid, but I think there should have been some coloring on the eyes.

Burgerbuns video hosted by Alex Zavaleta. Unfortunately Mike was unavailable for interviews due to losing his voice the night before at a bar.

The show was fun. Art amazing in most cases. Cupcakes top notch. Didn't have the heart to tell Bert that when splashing around the Haight one is just as likely to get covered in bum urine as rain. Good times.

Zinc, as always your photos are top notch! Thank you so much for taking the time.

This one by Skinner is blowing my mind. I saw he painted up a bunch of kaiju for Designercon. I hope he keeps painting toys!

Looking at Bwana's makes me think Sucklord's isn't a bootleg as you can see where the arms he added on would fit into the sockets. But I can let you know for sure when it arrives.
