But then we're at a point where all the kids who were into underground shit, i.e. you, me and our "generation" (I am using this in a very broad sense) are now contributing to the social concious in a much larger way. We are directing films, writing TV shows, doing video or still shoots. So our influences will creep in more and more and we pay homage. It's unavoidable. Nothing is sacred....
