I work in a bar. I got home at 3am today. And I see my facebook a'blazin with people "reporting" from Target, Walmart, etc.

A. It's not reporting. You're standing in a line of angry people who all want the same crap you want and none of you (cept those first few) are going to get it. And when you DO get it, it's still just a toaster that's worth less than you paid for it, even if you paid "half off".

B. No, sweet girlfriend, I do NOT want to get up at six am (remember when I said I got home at 3am?) to go to Macys. I understand that the high threadcount sheets (for the bed we haven't bought yet) are on sale for $25, and I know what they are retail. Sleep is worth more than 75% off.

C. I'm getting everyone gift cards for christmas, and only for stores that sell their gift cards at Superfresh.

ugh... that looks horrible. i realize there are some good deals out there, but worth all that? On top of these dudes camping out for days????

Actually, I found one online. Accidentally while just browsing LED LCD displays. Samsung LED LCD 23" display for $179 + free shipping from NewEgg. That's the only "Black Friday" thing I bought.

But I didn't have to wait in a line at 4am with people shoving each other. People are stupid.

Nhl 11 for 35 bucks at best buy. In and out and the last copy at 430 when I got out of work. There was not a single good deal this year.

People are such sheep! I watched that video and if you didn't know any better you would think these people were being given food after not eating for 2 months. So sad our economy depends on this shit at the end of the year and people get brainwashed to make idiots of themselves like this.

I just don't get the people who don't understand the internet enough to be able to look for these savings online without having to go out and fight the sweaty hoardes. I was talking to someone I work with who thinks that the only deals are in the stores, then I showed them the equal deals online. They said "yeah but it's all sold out, you had to be online" well yes...but that's better than being outside in the 20 degree winds waiting. Furthermore a lot of the "deals" are illusions, TV's are going to be cheaper in Dec. and maybe even up until March.

Some people just ENJOY this. They LIKE going out and doing it. But I like collecting weird/expensive vinyl toys (even non-hyped toys here are expensive in comparison to normal toys), I can't judge them.
