It was meant as a humorous observation. But while we are at it...I haven't followed what he's selling them for in a while but I think folks have a choice, they don't have to buy it. Obviously some folks don't like it but If he put up a website and sold them for that much with fancy pictures would it be perceived differently? One of ten and all? From what Bemons I have seen in the last few years most paint apps have sucked so I could care less about them at any price. But the ones with wicked paint jobs are pretty fantastic and imho worth a high buck. Better one great Bemon than a zillion thingamajigs. There's a always going to be a high end and low end of goods dictated by the market. Maybe he has a loyal Bemon following dropping that kind of coin on a regular basis. And to be honest, I don't know and I don't really give a shit what other people buy or don't buy. Whatever blows one's hair back, to each his own blah blah blah... Didn't mean to derail the Nag "Centipede" train.

Oh no, I don't care, I don't even wear underwear I also was "just sayin" as the kids like to say. Cpt. Bemon seems to have been dropping HP's again it seems, or have those been old releases re-found? I dunno. I like Bemons and Nags, ugly love! I just wish he'd lottery them off vs. straight flippage BUT I can see him getting all the money and saying "fuck it!" Can't hate on him for (more kid talk) "ballin" totally. Getting sick of all the shit and just going direct.

Re: Angora Patio
I remember years back talk about how people thought toy makers should just sell their shit on eBay so at least they get all the money rather than flippers. The sentiment being that if people are going to spend stupid money on a toy that the money should go to the person who created the toy rather than some schmuck. Not saying that it's "the answer", or a good way to sell toys, just that it was a semi-popular thought during flipper talk. Essentially the methods used by Bemon, Anraku and Nag all suck - there is no right way unless you're willing to make items to-order like Elegab...but then that's not really "collecting", which is certainly part of the allure of this hobby.

Great article. Jack WHite makes some great points. Shigeru sells by lottery open to all - people all over the world have won in these lotteries - I cant think of a fairer way to get a limited toy to the fans.

It seems like if everyone can have it, less people buy it. The items to order thing still kinda works. It's still hard to find an elegab if you missed the release because for once the people who own it actually wanted the toy enough to buy it no matter how many others got one. These people selling Nags for a grand wouldn't own them if everyone else could.
