This show is coming up quick. I remember it being announced over a year ago and being excited for another US Gargamel show. Hope to see lots of awesome pictures, and score some of the leftover.

I am sure I will never see one of these in person.

So here's the run-down on how things are going to go for the Gargamel show regarding online preview vs. first-come first-serve:

"In a break from our normal Preview List procedure, attendees of the opening reception will have first choice of both exhibit pieces and exclusive releases, beginning at 7PM. We're expecting a line-up for the available pieces, so be prepared to come early! We'll begin handing out line tickets at 11AM the day of the opening.

Remaining exhibit pieces and exclusives will be posted and offered to our Preview List members on Saturday afternoon (December 11).

Exclusives:

Exclusive Gargamel releases for this exhibit are Pocket Oozebat, Pocket Zagoran and Pocket Angel Bird in unpainted clear purple vinyl, Crouching Miborah (debut) in unpainted light blue vinyl and a full size Zagoran in light blue vinyl with purple accents. Exclusives will be limit one per customer during the opening reception."

Even though I am a local, and will be attending the show, I hope so too. I know how frustrating it is to constantly miss out on releases due to location, so I do hope that some of these releases (especially the crouching Miborah) will make it to online sales to give some non-locals a shot.

Awesome, I may not be able to hang this weekend but I'll see all you freaks in the cold next Friday! I'm bringing some extra warm gear.

Yeah, I can't make it to today's meet up either... I have my fiance's work's holiday dinner thing to go to today... Luckily the dinner is today as opposed to next Friday. I probably would have ended up ditching the company dinner to go to the show lol.
I'll (hopefully) definitely be there next Friday! I'm thinking warm gear and a warm blanket for waiting in line for that ticket

Wait a minute... for some reason I thought today was the 4th X-P ... So there is a small chance I'll be able to make it to the meet up tomorrow.... We do have plans to go to our friend's house tomorrow, but I might be able to leave earlier to meet up with fellow SBers... Hmmmmmm.....

Yeah, work sucks. If I happen to get called off due to low census I'll pop in though. Weather dot com says it's gonna be 34 w/chance of snow. Lets hope it doesn't get colder than that, that's really pretty good IMO!

well, the plan for tomorrow is to be at roto at 6, then we're hiking down diversey
(towards the brown line) to feast on some bacon-y tastiness at paddy long's.
there's an event going on with spencer's foods (great bangers!), so it promises
to be a good time...

and my office xmas party is next friday, but i'll be in line early to get me my
ticket, so maybe bring something breakfast-y while we wait? (shit... where did
i put that thermos?)

lol, yeah, hopefully I'll be able to sneak out early enough to make it tomorrow... If not, I'll still try to make it to paddy long's... Not sure how long people are planning to chill for, but I think that Bill might go (Ultra999) so I can just give him a call to see where people are at. Also, depending on if I get to Roto at 6pm, I can give a few people a ride to paddy long's. I'm driving all the way from Gurnee, so I'll definitely be getting there via automobile.

What time do you think is a safe bet on getting to Roto to wait in line for a ticket?

8-ish? definitely before 9... that gives plenty of time to be social and suffer for our toys,
but not so long that we lose any extremities to the cold before kirby opens up at 11.

You'll get a ticket as long as your there before 11:00, I'm going to be there about 8:30-9:00 so I can at least get the exclusives. Super stoked for this!

Bryan, give me a call in the morning and I'll meet up with you at Roto. We can then get some breakfast/lunch. Toys and food, my two favorite things

I didn't think there could be a cuter monster than the crouching zag, but the Mibora is so f-ing cute. That and the ooze bat are 2 must haves. Super jealous of those in Chicago.
