I love the attention to detail

Icicles longer on the corners
Forehead creases
Spikes on the claws

Thanks for the pictures, Paul!

The "Sour tape" shingles are especially great. I am also very impressed with the balancing of that elaborate structure on two legs.

These are amazing! I love all the little details. The icing spiked claws and feet are super, and that tongue sticking out so far is amazing. My girls focused on the eyes. I must admit the pinwheel candies look delicious.

Due to the high humidity, the beast has fully turned to mush.
RIP Gingerbeast. :D

Awesome Paul!! Merry Christmas :!:

After taking last year off from doing it I decided to take a break from everything else and make this one.
It took me two days. I made the dough a week in advance from a recipe in a book I won in a Food Network contest for the first one I made.
This year I'm taking notes, there's so much more you can before baking and assembly to really give more texture and color without
risking a whole day's worth of work in one drop.
Nothing like something so damn stressful, that's only temporary.
