So I can't believe we havent got this on the boards yet. Im not going to do a poll or even quantify "best" toy of the year. But what's your FAVORITE toy of the year? Either single colorway or series.

that color scheme will haunt me forever. ( as will the rest that i dont own.) but the orange/purp is one of my favs.

2010 was the year of the fan-created toy. Rich's Slime Demon, Paul's Boss Carrion and Jeff's Greasebat ... all outstanding, all well-received.

Zollmen Bobongo. I believe this was 2010. Great toy. Super fucked up and wrong. I'm a natural slave to Jun San and his work.One of my favorite sculptors ever.
Blue Drunkboy. So cuddly.
Sludge Demon gift from Rich at NYCC. The green is so vintage Mattel and mossy. Got me there. Love it.
Blobpus painted Boss. A personal stepping stone from the most inspirational Kaji San. Moves me in my guts.

Best one goes to Toygraph Matango. it's what TOHO toy-crushes are made of. Gorgeous! Gorgeous! Gorgeous!
There's much I could consider from my list, but I don't have.

2010 Picks (in no particular order)



This piece came to me as a surprise. Such a unique and a well executed vinyl toy. No idea as to the back story but I love it.



Hands down, a must have for me for this year. Zollmen kept it very interesting for me, and harder to resist the newer releases. Damn you Zollmen!





Call it bias as you may, but I couldn't possibly hide my praises and adoration for the new Standard Deathra. The mini Desuras are my most favorite toys, and this new BIG one is like a dream come true for me---hoping that Gargadudes will come out with the unpainteds and the other classic colorways. Awesome, awesome toy.



Just received this toy and man...was really impressed with the Ilith! Chris (Grumble Toy) , my compliments and congratulations for such a very interesting sculpt. No frills, no hypes, love it.
