Tried out some really loose sprays on this guy, and restrained the pearl effects to just a few spots. They are fun to play with, but I've done enough pearl-heavy figures that now I can use it as just an accent where appropriate. I always like the 'oil slick' type colors people have tried, but they are usually a little too random for my detail-oriented brain.








This one's up in my shop I picked up a pack of the blue minis ages ago, but they really don't fit in my collection... they are too big compared to things like Monster Family or Max Toy minis for my taste.

Here's mini #2... this Mightin was a testbed for Monster Kolor 'Rolok' colors, which are an improved version of the regular paint formula that dry flat and don't need the gloss coat if you don't want it. I know the wet-gloss look is not for everyone, and I am usually more of a flat color with shading guy, so I was stoked when DP gave me some of the new formula paints to try out. After cleaning the figure extra thoroughly and hitting the finished figure with a hair dryer to really cure the paints on, they look and feel great.




I did a couple details with other colors and glossed them up for some variety.



Same deal as the Hedo, he's available, got no space.

Another one... this is not an original idea by any means, but it is the only thing I think of when I see this sculpt, so I had to do it.






He glows really well, too. I used C-thru MK for most of the colors.
