McSupersizeMe SB version is a great toy - especially any of teh clear w/guts versions - in fact its the only Ron toy done right IMO. I will happilly trade for a more "skullbrain acceptable" toy if anyone gets one of these. It's not that it isn't a "skullbrain acceptable" toy, it's that I don't like the sculpt. I admit the one with guts is okay but overall if I got that I'd be disappointed. As much as I want one of those pirates I just don't think I have the guts or cash to risk it. im with you on this one Hank. after talking to the wife last night and trying to mentally factor my chances of getting a pirate, ( ) the juice ISN'T worth the squeeze this time im afraid.

 Re: Secret Base X-Ball 2011
This back and forth seems to happen every year and in the end not too many people seem to be happy with the result. The responses seem strained and coerced at best. Then in a week or so all that stuff pops up here on the BST threads... You're better off spending the $$ on a figure from Lamm or some other board member more deserving who can actually claim to have a cool sculpt and something you'll appreciate. I dig SB, but this past year has been ripe with basura in my opinion on a good day. So all anyone is gonna get is the cream of the crap.
Better to get a Yamomark x Blobpus mystery bag from Lulu (and they're less money)

Seems like an X-ball is not for the the faint of heart. Mark, if I was in Tokyo I'd be fighting it out with you for first position in line! and Toby if you score the 18k Gold SupersizeMe I'm totally up for that trade

Weird, as I thought I skipped last year but am sure I got both the same from a LB... hmmmm... my memory is shit though. Either way, I'm testing my luck this year.

 Re: Secret Base X-Ball 2011
So is this a bag, or single item deal? I swear there was a comment on here saying something like you get one item for the price (I dont see it now, maybe I'm blind). I'd be pissed if I got a hat or mug or mini skeleton guy for over $100... otherwise I'm tempted.

 Re: Secret Base X-Ball 2011
The ones you are talking about are the lucky bags from 2008/2009. Lucky bags usually contain more than just one toy and you have a way better chance at something exclusive.
In the X-Balls there was just one toy + random merchandise as far as I remember. X-Balls are either awesome or (in most cases) not so awesome.

Oh oh! Can I add to the confusing disinformation too?!?!?! anschiss wrote: In the X-Balls there was just one toy + random merchandise as far as I remember. It looks like there is only X Balls this year since theres no mention of bags and for the price, I would guess we are looking at a finger crossing 2-3 items.

 Re: Secret Base X-Ball 2011
everything in the pictures look to have been released at some point right? i think i might try if there are at least rebels in the pot, but not if they are old releases that i already have. in the pic it looks like the first release white w/black print?

 Re: Secret Base X-Ball 2011
The last release like this was those Xbox ones back in january last year, and those all rocked, they even had multiple toys in some, I didn't recall anyone getting burned. I remember the grab bag thingies though that were mainly a tote bag and garbage SB couldn't get rid of, a little sketchy.

Sent my email an hour late. They're sold out. If anyone gets a pirate and doesn't want it, let me know.
