same here... i'm crossing fingers so gargamel can release this guy in the near future.
also i'd love to get be the characters of Chibira Kun:
the vinage characters are pretty expensive... but i'd be happy with some repros!
so far i have the chibira kun + pochi pochi from bearmodel and the regular chibira kun from yanamaya.... but i need repros from the other characters!! (specially the blue guy with the crazy eyes)

maybe it speaks to the novelty of this toyscene, but a lot of holy grail stuff in this thread seems to be pretty new stuff.

Well, as far as old, very very long term goals...I'd like to put together a set of the Astro Mu 5 vinyl nodder dudes. Did anyone see the set of 6 MIB that was on YJA recently? Awesome, and only 500,000 yen!

The toy that I most want that I do not currently own is a Forest Secreter Brain.

I don't know that I have any "holy grails" - just several figures that I'd like, but that I'm unwilling to spend the necessary amount of money on:
Secreter Sun
Secreter Forest
Secreter Sky
Head Shop

First version Marusan Garamon, only $100,000 if you can find one for sale. And no, that is not a typo.

That's the one...you know, a few years back, I sold mine, regretted it (surprise surprise), and eventually convinced the buyer (helluva nice guy) to sell him back to me.
He came home with a little handwritten note in his box:
"OH DADDY! How I've missed you! The bad man made me stand on a shelf with other, inferior vinyls!"
Sound familiar, Corey?
Yeah, this is a great figure, geo, even with bupkis articulation.
Much presence, as cae noted.
They're re-releasing him painted and assembled or unpainted/unassembled.
