 Re: The Japan Music Thread
About fifteen years ago, I directed a music video for a Japanese band, Great 3. the song was "Chop The Meat." I've looked for it on youtube, but since I can't read Japanese, it was a fruitless search. If somebody here could dig it out, that would be appreciated.

 Re: The Japan Music Thread
For some reason I was convinced that I had already posted in this thread but now that I've gone through it I may have added links elsewhere, so here I go with some Japanese acts missing in this list (various artists that work in completely different directions): Kazuki Tomokawa - Izo (from the Takashi Miike movie) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yBq_mZQJ9pI Added this even if Tomokawa was previously posted, most of all because it combines great music with some great images (even if violent so consider before watching) Hair Stylistics - Karaoke Country Zone http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4U1U1mlrG0wPreviously known as Violent Onsen Geisha. The Gerogerigegege http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=peepBWOAI_8Some performance madness, no title. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jn9ETe1o ... re=relatedMore Gero covers. Masonna http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gmktv963 ... re=relatedLive from the good old days Ai Aso http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8QKPjuhLAMFrom the first tape, released by Tiliqua on vinyl Wata (from Boris) solo on Ai Aso's 'The Future' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vpCtq66H ... re=relatedGround Zero - El Derecho De Vivir En Paz + Shinoshin 3-4 (Plays Standards) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7RCT7y1y1F8Ami Yoshida http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dDpX1UZbZbc
