Those are cool, Jordan! Any idea why the figure has green paint in just spot?
Is it significant?

In UltraQ isn't that where the counter to show how much money Kanegon has eaten is? Looks like there's at least the lines to show where the counter would go. I'm guessing that spray is to highlight that little area. In the show, there's actually an old school digital readout (the one with numbers on dials).

I love it, Jordan brings the heat!

I love watching Flynn get excited about toys. There really is no end to this hobby.

Good luck.

Sorta...Kanegon is a greedy little boy who's transformed into a giant change-purse-headed monster that gobbles coins (which are marked, as they slide down his gullet, by the counter that hamamaiku explained)- his mouth is actually a giant, wraparound zipper.

Thanks for the explanation about Kanegon. I have never seen an episode of Ultra Q. It has never been shown on TV in the area that live, and I don't think it is available on DVD.

try 10,000 frank . thats what a big collector in japan paid for one . that pink hedorah wouldnt be missing a tail huh ? a gal in hawaii has a kanagon that color and her friend has one too . is that both of them together ? that kanagon is so rare that nobody in japan knew it exsisted or thought it was fake until a few years ago .

so prolly 15-20 k each if they where to hit the serious J market.

thats pretty nice for a toy that was probably less than 5 dollars new.

so..has the revelation of 2 perfect specimens caused many a sleepless night amongst the elite collectors?

I came close to that giant kanegon a couple o times, but ended up buying another dirtbike.

I paid about 2700.00 for my Giant skull kun... so i could see trying for one of these if you had the means. be the ultimate centerpiece to a nice collection.

how many vintage pieces top say the 5 k barrier?

like, if yu where gonna go deep....how much scratch would you need? couple of hundred grand?
