no, the poop lollipops and stupid Wall toys were a joke. In comparison, these light bulbs are interesting.

Thats a great question. I was wondering the same thing. After doing some research the lamps are only 3watts and the filament appears to be solid metal (most filaments in incandescents are super thin and wound tight). The major reason standard incandescent lamps burn out is because of the filament breaking. Trying not to get to techie about lighting..so to sum it all up these will not produce much light (more like a glow) and will most likely last allot longer then a standard 60watt lamp you have in your house. But I would still be interested to know the exact life rating.

Wow this thread has taken a turn... But on another note, I think kaws should write a book called how to make money for dummies. The guy is definitely doing the damn thing. He built a strong enough brand that I think he can take a used toothbrush, put two x's on it and sell back to it's owner for triple the price.

Got my set today and they're better than I thought they'd be (but I already liked them based on the photos). From the pictures I was thinking they'd be flatter on the "z" axis - but they've got great depth to them. And it's really fun to hold them in hand and then set them down...doesn't look like they'd stand, but they are quite sure-footed.

just opened mine and I have to agree with NT. These guys are fucking awesome. even better than I thought they would be. But since I don't own the OG versions, I think I was surprised at the size. they are smaller than I thought. Brown is only 7 inches. Grey maybe 8 inches? How tall are the OG? Cause these guys are way shorter than either the kaws trooper / vader which is what I think I was expecting size wise.

I think that these guys are the same volume as the original Companions. Can't really compare by height due to the distortions. But they are about the same size.

If no one else does, I'll take photos. They probably won't be very good. And I probably won't get around to it until Sunday at the earliest.

They stand very sturdy. No problem or wobbles to the grey and brown that I have.

I said they don't LOOK like they would stand, but that they are very sure-footed and stable.

Great comparison shots, but they really show how on point the OG 99's were . . . and how kinda 'gimmicky' the new versions are!

Still happy to have passed on 'em.
