I haven't graduated to making my own Glyos compatible parts (yet!), but I have been working on a custom release that is ready to show:



Ceekoar is one of the fringe worlds of the Glyos universe, known for its harsh gaseous environment. It is constantly under siege because deep under its cloudy exterior it was the site of many ferocious Old War battles, resulting in the inhospitable environment today. The survivors of Ceekoar were changed by the new environment and now dedicate themselves to keeping the Old War tech decaying on Ceekoar out of anyone’s hands.

The Ceekoar are a little project I have been working on since the latest drop with its build-centric releases and Axis Joints. I am going to be posting full shots and info for one figure a day for the next two weeks, after which I will post the whole squad pics and release details. I can tell you that the Ceekoar will be a five figure release, and each figure is painted with Monster Kolor.

Commander Caustia is a veteran of many wars and has lead numerous detachments out into the Glyos-verse to battle threats to Ceekoar. Armed with the latest in Axis-armor technology, Caustia has been fighting for his homeworld for as long as anyone can remember, so long even that no member of the army remembers when Caustia was transformed into a Phanost!



Caustia wears a custom set of MF-pattern lightweight Axis Traveller armor, allowing him to outmaneuver his opponents before delivering a powerful blast from his Phase Blaster.

These are super sweet paint jobs! You know me...I LOVE color!

Ya, Phil Reed's metal heads are krazy kewl and they look great on these pieces you made!

Thanks! These are actually earlier metal heads cast up by what became Brownnoize Productions, which have a much better peg fit due to some differences in process that I don't understand. I have a small stash more of these metal Phanost heads that will get used on customs

I never knew that...so someone else had permission from Matt to mold and cast metal heads prior to Phil? I always thought Phil was the first to do it and to have Matt's support.

Anyway, here are some photos of all the Kabuto colorways I have cast so far (except for the blue thermo change one I sent to Matt last Sat.) and a couple fun heads on Callgrim and Glyos bodies.

Here are a few test sculpts with Sculpey that I did and a final version in Apoxie sculpt that I started last night. I took ideas from the test sculpts and put them into action with a few new ideas on the first of the final sculpts. I'm really looking forward to getting back to work on this!

Ceekoar Soldier-pattern Gendrones are the most basic troops in the Ceekoar forces. Equipped with a Phase Burst Cannon, shield emitter, and jump pack, they are designed for quick, close combat engagements.

Ceekoar is a world constantly under siege, so its armed forces employ many battlefield engineers to maintain the defences. Corius is a veteran engineer armed with a custom set of weapons and armor.



The Phase Welder is the standard tool among Ceekoar field engineers, serving as both a tool and a powerful weapon in a pinch. Corius also never leaves home without his custom blast pistol.






Individual figure spreads will get me through Thursday's post, and then Friday will be the full squad shots with the release details, but I wanted to give everyone the head's up that the release will be Saturday night unless something comes up.

Look who is in the background towering over the Kabuto line up...

The Ceekoar drop will be at 8:30PM EST this Saturday, Jan 29. There will be five figures available, the Sarvos, three Gendrone battle units, and the yet to be posted Phanost. Caustius Phanost is my testbed figure, so he stays with me, and Corius Pheyden is off to Master Doughty as a thank you for providing us all with the perfect building blocks to make whatever all of us Glyos customizers can think of. The Sarvos and Gendrones will be $45 each, and the Phanost will be $50 and features a metal head from Brownnoize Productions. Each figure is painted fully with Monster Kolor and features a fine and detailed paint scheme with pearl effects and a high-gloss finish. No loose Kaiju sprays on these guys. The available figures will go up in my Store, and then will be order-able by email, first come, first served.



Ceekoar Sarvoses typically lead individual Gendrone teams in the field, but they must also be able to take care of their-selves while their troops are engaged.

Ceekoar Gendrone Gunners are equipped with heavy machine cannons and more advanced cranial units to process more complex targeting information. Gunners are used for heavy support and front-line reinforcement.



I had a really great time getting to know the new Axis Joints on these guys and figuring many different ways they could enhance a figure. I’m really happy with this setup in particular, which is simple but effective, and not too demanding in parts.

Exposure to the powerful energies on Ceekoar leads to an unusually high occurrence of Phanost transformation among its warriors. As such, becoming a Phanost is seen as a right of passage among the Ceekoar, and most officers in the Ceekoar forces are Phanosts.



This Sergeant wears a Gendrone-pattern set of armor with bounty hunter-class upgrades and armament.





Sarge features a metal head cast in quality lead by Brownnoize Productions. The whole head has been clearcoated so it is safe to handle.



Gotta love those Phanosts! My first Glyos fig was a Phanost at NYCC, and they'll always be my favorite. Hope I haven't buried everyone under pics. Tomorrow I'll post up the rest of the squad shots so you can see how the figs look in a group and in action, and then Saturday we release!

Had some time and extra apoxie after working on a commission last night, so I got a start on the buildman's arms. I'll get back to work on it tonight after another round with the commission.

I like this. Is the custom based on the idea that this is a member of the race that built the Buildmen? (Like the Geonosians and the Battle Droids in the Star Wars prequels.)

Thanks! I wish I could say that it was, but this is actually just a creation of my own. I wanted to go for a organic/insect/reptile look and after messing around with a few test sculpts this look started to emerge. I plan on expanding on it further with future buildman customs. I'm new to the glyos world, so I'm still catching up on all the backstorys and characters
