I actually appreciate Rudebeast coming on here and telling us why he bought it. I don't see how his explanation comes across as being defensive. Since when is telling it like it is being defensive? Seems to me that people are being defensive on why they DIDN'T buy it more than why he did. It's like people need to openly convince themselves why they're not buying it so they can sleep at night. Granted with the crazy high prices these are getting it doesn't take much self convincing.
People here pay way more than necessary all the time. I think we have all done it before for that one piece we felt we could not miss at any cost. I know I have. We all pay ridiculous amounts of money for pieces of plastic so no biggie when someone shells out piles like he did.

Neither being defensive or being offensive are inherently negative or positive though, but maybe I'm being too defensive about the situation. Sorry.
