Thanks guys, the head on the Smogun really looks like a pollution monster head. I thought the maker of these was super protective of that character and was taking offense to people even drawing/painting it? Im guessing hes involved somehow with the smogun or no?

Nope. Both stole the character from a header card.

And my FAVORITE...and the BEST kougai kaiju is represented in this header as well.

You are right...i think the header card bemon is one of the best production ver. it will forever haunt me to have traded it away.

I love this Bemon sculpt and I hope to get one in the future (when I'll have more money). I love how versatile it can be with all of the color combinations. But this Buttercup version is by far my number one ultimate favorite Bemon ever! It's truely stunning! Congrats!

But do browse on the pages from this thread featuring the earlier OG painted ones, you might be overwhelmed from the different and very unique paint app patterns.

I really love most (if not all) of the Bemons posted in this thread. I really like your Bemon collection, especially the GID Bemon and the yellow vinyl based painted Bemon. I also really like Bloodrinker's "#13" Bemon immensly, the virus Bemons are gorgeous, then there are the lovely unpainted clear Bemons, the pearl is gorgeous, and I'm really loving the mixed parts Bemons!

I guess I shouldn't have written that the buttercup Bemon was "by far" my favorite, because there are many that come into close second and third and such, but oh man oh man, that Buttercup custom Bemon is definitely my favorite That color scheme and the way it's applied is really speaking (more like screaming) to me. Gerrr... I want that one as well as a multitude of other Bemons that I have seen in this thread!

You'ld have to get one soon, if you really want to experience in hand, the unbelievable texture of this bad boy's sculpt is really something. We haven't talked about the back story to this piece yet.

I've been planning and hoping and saving to try and get one (if not more).. But money has been really tight lately and timing has been way off.. Every time one or more Bemons would pop up for sale, I would not have the money for it. :p Even now, one is up for sale, and I have no fundage for it... ):
My best bet, and what I am planning to do, is wait for my tax return, put it into savings, and then jump at the opportunity whenever one will pop up for sale again. I do hope it will work. But I can wait. Good things are definitely worth the wait for Now.. if you ever want to sell another one from your collection... lol

Pardon my lack of knowledge- So Bemon isn't involved with the Target Earth Smogun? Just two different people with two different interpretations? Same head though?
Or is it Bemon and some other dude that made both...? I'm confused...

No relation between the two different figures. The heads are also different.

If you use the "Search" function you'll find lots of info on where Bemon came from. I think we've posted the origins and have had discussions multiple times.

Was super blown away having one in-person. The paintjob on these guys are incredible.
This one, in particular, has got this iridescent purple, silver, with a matte-green, all on grey vinyl. Just plain stellar.

Yea dude, that one is spectacular. I love the back of these guys with all the stuff leaking out of them. NICE score!

Man, I got to take some better pics than that cellphone pic. Catch the amazing paintjob better, and the back of the beast with the brown-grey sludge dripping out.

The eyes on that one really stand out to, creepy. I love it.
