 Re: Tiger Blood
Is it an act? Is he trying to pull a Joaquin Phoenix on us? Regardless, it's entertaining.

Tiger's blood + Adonis DNA= winning
I don't think it's an act. Just a sad product of someone who has done too many drugs.

 Re: Tiger Blood
The "sad' comment is more about the substance abuse problem. I've had a few friends battle life long addictions and it's sad how they ruin their lives and the effect it has on everyone around them.

 Re: Tiger Blood
Go surround yourself with sycophants for 10-20 years and see what happens. @ Roger.. It's an act. Weapon of Mass Distraction. Charlie has his car go off a cliff and down in a ravine twice in a month or so... With him not in the vehicle. No mention of that in the mess I have read lately which is the first question I would ask. http://www.eonline.com/uberblog/b185874 ... r_off.html

 Re: Tiger Blood
as sad as it might be, the Powers that Be at CBS will not completely cancel Two and Half Men. Too much money at stake. hundreds of millions of dollars.
Charlie knows it too.

 Re: Tiger Blood
not to nitpick any of you, but it's a sad state of affairs (in my opinion) when someone's addiction problems are entertaining to the general public.
you're right kirkland, that show won't get cancelled, they have too much riding on it at the moment. i wonder how much jon cryer gets per episode?

atease wrote: not to nitpick any of you, but it's a sad state of affairs (in my opinion) when someone's addiction problems are entertaining to the general public. I'm certainly one of those people (and probably a hypocrite for it, but aren't we all at some point), but I can understand why. Part of it is the context in which I'm usually seeing news about him presented: entertainment news shows, which are normally just fluff. It's right alongside a teaser for some upcoming rom com flick, who can take that seriously? I think it's also the fact that right now, there's not a lot about his situation that people can connect with so instead of sympathizing, they gawk. Yes, he may have a serious drug habit and/or psychological problems as a result, but he's living in a beautiful California home and having sex with two nubile young women on top of a mountain of cash. Most people know someone who has hit rock bottom due to an addiction: lost their job, gotten busted for drunk driving, gone broke and homeless, etc. So far Charley hasn't had to deal with any of those things. He's OD'ed, been arrested, even shot Kelly Preston and has been able to skate by. That's not usually the case for Average Joe. Quote: you're right kirkland, that show won't get cancelled, they have too much riding on it at the moment. i wonder how much jon cryer gets per episode? NPR did a story on him earlier that insinuated that some producers actually prefer to keep these "public train wreck types" on board after their problems develop because it translates into ratings, probably one of the reasons why they never get better. Welcome to Hollywood.

 Re: Tiger Blood
Its a case of catastrophic auto-enabling. Since he's at the top of his professional game he can avoid hitting rock-bottom and can keep on justifying himself, hence the notion that he's got the "Winning" formula.

 Re: Tiger Blood
Charlie was supposed to join some common friends on a trip I went on to Jamaica in 1987. Mostly Jewish law students and a few others who were then breaking into entertainment in LA who where high school friends.
His best friend at the time came and told us then several stories of his "high" jinks. We kept telling the natives who would follow us into the surf trying to sell us dope that his friend was the "Coke King of LA", as a joke to get them to bother him instead of us (we already had all the "supplies" we needed). So as I keep up with his deconstruction these days, I am reminded of that time. It is actually typical of many of my friends from then, except few of them have the money for porn actresses.
Ok, back to toys.

I mean the guy was in the "Scary Movie" series and a mediocre sitcom. This is THE best thing he's done since the "Hot Shots" movies. And I'm not even all that interested. That's his ticket right there, "Hot Shots" 3, has some "Expendables" and other predictable jokes on modern action, BOOM HE'S BACK right there! $$$ written all over that crap.
