sample bagged M5 Bravo He'll come with 6 different die cut stickers for his chest TV screen, which was left blank after suggestions from the SB crew.

I am glad you went with the option to use the stickers, I love the chest on the drawings, but not sure about on the toy. Now I get to decide

These toys blow my mind - they are REAL toys, but with kaiju appeal. I could seriously see those go Ugly Doll HUGE!

Lookin' good Jeff! That M5 Bravo is looking like he's waiting to get out of the bag. He looks like he's just staring at that header card thinking "How the heck can I open that up from in here? Hmmmm.." Greasebat wrote: sample bagged M5 Bravo He'll come with 6 different die cut stickers for his chest TV screen, which was left blank after suggestions from the SB crew.

 Re: M 5 Bravo & Stee-Gar
It would be really cool if the "TV stickers" varied between releases. For example, if there were to be a SDCC release maybe the stickers could fit the convention or be San Diego specific. Just a random thought as stickers could be swapped out quick and cheap.
Also hologram and linticular stickers could be really cool, but would cost a little more.

 Re: M 5 Bravo & Stee-Gar
Thanks guys, I like the lenticular sticker idea. That would be super freakin' excellent.
The one bagged, in the photo I think he has all the same style sticker. The actual production pieces will have 6 different stickers to choose from. Or you can leave it blank, paint/design your own.

 Re: M 5 Bravo & Stee-Gar
I want to see somebody customize this guy with either a rotating tumbler with different images like on the old Battle Armor He Man figure, or fit an actual little LCD in there.

I don't know why, my monster designs always look sort of more stupid than scary. Maybe some sort of self loathing or self portraiture going on there... But seriously, I appreciate that you guys pick up on that.

 Re: M 5 Bravo & Stee-Gar
Some news on the release of the two new figures via Unbox Industries. They are handling all sales and shipping. For now follow the @togetherplus twitter feed for announcements. Details will be announced through them using twitter, when they get an email notification thing going I will let you all know the details. Release date is up in the air, but it is finally upon us! Attached is a picture of some painted factory prototypes... This color scheme was not produced...

Such a great couple of monsters. I know you picture them destroying shit Mr. Greasebat but they really got the friendly Monster inc. feeling all over them (ment in the good way). Can't wait for the release Really like the colors and chunkyness. Plus I really dig the idear of changeble displays. Next gen toy making. I like Prometheum5 thoughts about the actual lcd screen! Re: M 5 Bravo & Stee-Gar
I would just like to say that although I do not currently own a Greasebat or a M5 Bravo or Stee-Gar, it's not because of lack of desire... These guys are amazing, and so close to the artwork that it's scary... Sometimes a toy will look better than the actual art or vice versa, but to me they both feel completely complementary. I know this is kind of a cheesy idea, but have you thought of selling sticker packs, at cost (or perhaps for a small profit) that could go with particular themes? Like certain battles he's in or whatever. Kind of like the idea that (?) had for SDCC... Anyways it's your baby, and whatever you decide to do with it is aces in my book, I haven't seen a toyline executed so precisely since Hujilli lost his body... (get it, executed, get it, ha ha.)
These guys are definitely outrageously amazing... Thanks for being a free thinker, and a great artist... You've enriched our lives, and taken another step in right direction... In other words, BRAVO!

 Re: M 5 Bravo & Stee-Gar
Thanks ! The M5 Bravo (large one eye guy) does come with his own selection of die cut stickers for the TV screen on his chest, 5 total. There are plans for special stickers for special releases.
I'm really pleased with how these came out. I'm a huge fan of vintage kaiju and the rather rough, sometimes simple sculpts. The transition from paper to vinyl has been exactly as I hoped it would be, thanks to sculptors with way more talent than me!

 Re: M 5 Bravo & Stee-Gar
i know it's too late in the game to consider this release, but i think something along the lines of colorforms vs. adhesive stickers would be a winner. making them interchangeable without committing to a single sticker design...thoughts? i guess this is something the community could also make happen, at least on an individual basis (scan, print on appropriate media, apply to figure, play!).
but crap, i don't even know if colorforms would stick to vinyl...some experimentation is in order!

 Re: M 5 Bravo & Stee-Gar
damn, that's an excellent idea! The colorforms thing... maybe not to late for releases down the road, I mean the die cut part was probably the most expensive aspect and I don't see why it couldn't be used to cut vinyl.

 Re: M 5 Bravo & Stee-Gar
I know you probably don't want people to hack open your baby... but it would be cool to see someone disassemble an old MOTU Battle Damage He Man and insert the roll pin that... well... gives him battle damage.

 Re: M 5 Bravo & Stee-Gar
Okay, looks like these guys will go on sale this weekend, directly from the producer, Unbox. For sales info you can follow their twitter at @togetherplus or get on their email list at unboxinfo@gmail.comThey will provide you with the details as far as prices, sale times etc. I believe they are doing lottery sales, not my favorite system, but it's fair to worldwide customers. The final retail price came in lower then I expected, so I'm really happy with that. Here's a pic of the first color way, nicknamed electric lemon. It's a Ghidorah tribute if that wasn't too obvious...! Thanks guys for the continued support! Here are some prototype pics to show the interchangeability...

Greasebat making the toys of the future Yeah, their destruction is not done with malicious intent, even Greasebat just destroys vinyl factories because he's hungry. Most of the damage is done due to their general clumsiness, on accident. Of course M5B and Stee-Gar will always attack Greasebat on sight, regardless of the situation or location...

I would have preferred to wake up even in the middle of the night to be there at the release time than being reduced to wait for a lottery result where, once again, the demand will flood the offer. To me, one aspect of the fun in the collecting is to get the info and to be there at the right time...like it was the case for the release of Brown greasebat on Facebook. According to me lottery has just a rottening effect. Sorry to not be able to hide my disapointment

I didn't even notice the articulation in the legs until that shot. Adds even more playability to interchangeable parts and chest graphics. Awesome, Going to be some of the funnest toys out there.
