 ULTRAFEST 2006 - its the 40th anniversary! Mori-kun, Baikin and I went to the sunshine building up in Ikeburo to check out this year's Ultrafest. Normally more of an event for kids we didn't expect such an amazing exhibition of props and Kaiju and TOYS from back in the day. Anyway check out my photoset in all its raw glory...

I clicked that link hoping for some good Pigmon/Garamon shots, and got even better than what I hoped for- that shot of Gara & Gyango together is great! Two of my Ultra-faves in one pic!
I like the shot of the dude (you?) having a sit-down with Guts, too....

Thanks for the flashback Ddub. Totaly reminded me of the Ultra 7 stage show I saw in Hawaii when I was a kid. Guys in costumes fighting it out on stage. The singer from the theme song was there and sang it as well as one other theme he did. Too much fun!
Oh and tables and tables of JP vinyl with lots of Hawaiian color varients.. Man I wish I was a rich little kid back then.
