Oh man, I just saw the new pics of the Yamo Umipudoru figure on KC. I think the new 'gold' tone paint job is amazing!!! A huuuge improvement. Anyone know of where to snag one of these (other than the festival)? I know GT is sold out of their pre-orders.

Yes toy collecting can be real frustrating at times and certainly stresses the wallet, the Cashegon Monster can hit real hard, ie... (spend money on kaiju = cash gone = Cashegon Monster! ). I hope you can swing it before it sells out. Yamomark is one of the most unique and unusual companies out there. That Yamomark Costume set is just amazing! I think in a year from now people will wish they bought this.

Did anyone manage to grab the latest Umipudoru from Medicom? After being up there nearly a week or so, I thought I might just be able to wait until payday (since they didn't sell out immediately), and now I checked and they are gone!! I really love the paint on this guy, why oh why did I hesitate?

So I am curious to know what some other people think about the Kumo preview shots. Seems like a hairy spider but with tentacles (or maybe barnacles) across him. I love Yamomark, but to be honest, it just doesn't seem to work for me. I can't figure out what is supposed to be going on in this figure. Granted, Yamomark guys are always crazy, but there is order to the chaos with great detail. The body on this guy is very generic, and what is with those hands? they're not really claws, or hooks, they are not much of anything.

I am sure I am just missing something, anybody want to shed some light on this guy?

I don't dig it either, something about it... It seems chunkier than their other stuff, maybe its just the pic but it seems like the legs are thicker. and I dont like the arms either. but the head is pretty rad and the rest of the body is pretty cool. I want some glitter MSM in my life though, whatever happened with that blue glitter one?

I'm thinking he sculpted it for kaiju ken.
Has a more kaiju ken feel than yamomark.

Yeah, I can sleep pretty easy at night knowing that I won't get that.
