Blasphemy! But Rich did do a great job paying homage.

Personally, I think Rich took the color scheme to another level with this design. Sculpt and personality wise, Ollie and Franken haven't got much in common besides both having arrms and legs, but without taking anything away from the original, you could call Rich's paint job a Frankenruge color palette reboot.

I really like the homage but in some pictures it looks like the red and blue pain are completely in unison. I wish it was a little bit uneven like the original.

i keep looking at the picture for the frankenrouge. just the teeth and eye alone make me wannna kill for this release. the whole thing is awesome, but the colors just pop off the face. crossing all i can in hopes of my first ollie.

I think MVH's photographs color seems much more rich than the physical .
Of course, this is only my own feelings .

Another loss here as well . Perhaps Rich will consider a made to order run like the previous Blobpus run. What ever happened to the store runs, first come first served, these lotteries are getting old (says the sore loser ). Maybe its time to go back to collecting more comic books. Cheaper and much easier to obtain.

Consisering that guys like Rich and Paul are small one man operations, with exceedingly high demand. Lotteries are the only way to really give all collectors a chance. Especially since there paint jobs are so complex a high run count will take up A LOT of man hours that just aren't available.

Were the Blobpus version done by 1 person? I didn't have the funds at the time to purchase one so I have no info on those. I thought all of those were made to order and hand painted by Blobpus Considering those were made to order I thought maybe Rich might be hip to doing one as well. Doing the same paint job on multiple pieces isn't as time consuming as say a bunch of 1 offs. Just my 2 cents.
