What I don't understand is that the Royal Blue hasn't been made yet.
The Shooting Blanks program is made to order type deal.
So why the fuck was it sold out so quickly?
Couldn't they have just kept the order open ended?

This is part of the Japan relief, so I just assumed it was for whatever the makers are willing to donate.

From what I understand this was an allocation of the sets sold in Japan and the order is probably in for them. There is supposed to be another blank through Lulu and should be in better numbers. So far none of the shooting blanks seem to have been made to order, some just sold out faster than others. Thats just what I have gathered up though so I may be wrong about details.

The runs are limited because the companys helping in the Japan relief are throwing in what they have left laying around for the "Shooting Blanks program" and Lulu is donating all of the proceeds to same. Next month the normal program should be back in motion, and by normal program I mean if you order a blank you can order as many as you want because all your orders will be.."made to order"...Hope this clears any confusion you might have had.

That makes sense... but when has Cure ever produced their toys made-to-order? Normal for Tossy seems to be fairly limited no matter what run it is.

Amy had posted something saying in the near future cure would be doing a blank for the program, she didn't say it would necessarily be a boogie.

Well...They seem to be reselling it at a high price for a figure that was sold/meant to be a japan relief figure.

I think this is an outstanding pick-up. I think it is shitty that someone would be trying to make money off a charity figure, but I don't think Mandarake would have paid much more than retail on it to be selling it at this price. Not too bad all around if you ask me. Congratulations

I would have picked this up myself if I'd seen it in time, but also feel that someone insta-flipping a charity figure on Mandarake is lame - so it woulda been a conflicted pick-up.

i'm understand that, i'm not very proud of this deal, i try to not buy flipping toys but sometimes, figure it's in front of you, not very expensive and a i was drunk just my 2 cent but why cure doesn't do an open run like sb with both rebels, more cash for japan and killed flippers....

Its hard when faced with a toy you want. I would have jumped on it too - but with some guilt attached. I think most people here would have done the same. I too wish Cure had done an open run, but I would guess there are logistic we don't know about and such, and the fcat is they did this which is rad anyway! Anyway, nice pick-up.
