 Re: Target Earth Collections
My one and only Gammy. Green, gold and some light red/orangeish spray on GID. This guy's bigger than I thought, so chunky and awesome! Adding some better shots.

 Re: Target Earth Collections
Kinda envious Jeff. I've always wanted a GID Gamerudon. I hope one day they do a small run similar to this one. I found some of the one off's a bit too overdone for my taste. Was this a custom by someone or one of Mark's?

Hmm so he did that run that he was suppose to do around the same time as Max Toy?

 Re: Target Earth Collections
I am so out of the loop, never even saw these for sale anywhere and TE doesn't sell overseas anyhow I thought? Must be some 'super secret handshake on a need to know only if you're in the know kinda deal'....

Just a small hint, and I hope you don't mind me advertising... He is up for adoption and all proceeds will be donated for the Japan earthquake/tsunami relief. He needs a good home , and is currently waiting for you on the Kaiju Chronicles website

 Re: Target Earth Collections
Around Nov 2009, Mark and TE were doing a release where each will paint up 20 GID Gamerudon. Mark sold out his 10 but TE's were stalled back then.
I had heard about TE releasing his version in Japan recently. It came as a surprise to Mark that some were sent to him. If we assume TE split 50/50 then that makes 5 for MTC. Could be less.

 Re: Target Earth Collections
Does anyone have any idea what happened with the Grumble Toy Gameldon release today? I was at the site at 10am (which is noon Pacific Time) through now and cannot find a link, but when I go to KC, it says SOLD OUT. Did anyone see a sales link?

 Re: Target Earth Collections
Son of a gun! I just found it under "new products". I had been searching for it by name and by maker and had looked on the home page with no luck. But, just now, I clicked on new products and there it was! That is just f^%ing great.

The response to this item was waaaay more than expected. I turned the listing on, then went back to my inventory to watch the stock quantity quickly dipping into the negative numbers. I had to quickly disable the listing to try to limit the number of disappointed Gameldon fans that will think they placed an order just to receive a refund. I've looked into ways to try to prevent the cart from dipping into the negative numbers when many people check out within a second of eachother.. I can't seem to find a solution. If I had any idea the response would have been so huge I should have had a loto for this release. To everyone who missed out and those who I had to send a refund to, I'm really really sorry about that. I wish there were more to go around.

 Re: Target Earth Collections
Although I am glad KC is back, their coverage, as well as many others of the release, must have brought in a number of new people hunting this toy. Who would have thought? Fudge.

Basically you and 3 other people look at the site.

I really do wonder how much KC affects anything in the end. It also pains me sometimes to post info up because I also want it. I rather much prefer not to have competition also. I guess it's a double edge sword.

 Re: Target Earth Collections
I ordered thinking I had it. Even paid for it, then I get on a train come home and get an email saying it was oversold and I'm being refunded (which as we know with paypal takes a week). Great $113 in limbo and I'm SOL. I'm sure the same people that always end up with this stuff will...

I'll be trying to upgrade the shopping cart, but my understanding is that when as many as 10 went through at the exact same second there just might not be much a better system can even do. Should have done a loto.

 Re: Target Earth Collections
I do think that KC increases the exposure of toy events, and seriously doubt that only 4 people viewed the news of this release since it was posted. You take your good with your bad. Sounds like there were alot more people chasing this toy for whatever reason. My statement was an observation, which I still believe to be true, not necessarily a complaint. Jeff, I just trust that KC will keep reporting once SDCC 2012 passes this year? rhinomilk wrote: DYBBUKIM wrote: Although I am glad KC is back, their coverage, as well as many others of the release, must have brought in a number of new people hunting this toy. I think this was just popular today because it's green. Jeff, I just trust that KC will keep reporting once SDCC 2012 passes this year? Yea, always a good and a bad. I'm sure people there are a few people who wish I didn't post certain things because they want a better chance at it. But then they also might come across something that they wouldn't know is coming up and appreciate it. We'll deal w/ SDCC 2011 first and see.

I've been promised fast cars and beautiful women... both of which have yet to be delivered - I'm starting to think I've been conned. We'll see. (do you mean SDCC 2011?- if you mean getting a press pass for 2012, you can't get that til a year from now- even for this year, I don't know if I can get it yet)
