Damn son! I wish this toy street thing was in May when I'll be in NY, I just wanna see that thing in person (than just casually stuff it in my mouth and walk away like a bandit!)

Re: Angora Patio
I wonder if anyone who flipped a Nag regrets it a little bit? This guy is super-talented.

Re: Angora Patio
Ive said it before the gory and brutal paint jobs from early nags really show his amazing paintwork just look at the boils on that mishka head and the eyes... i don't regret selling my nags i would rather just keep hunting my favorite one then look at the previous ones i owned and wish i had my grail nag

Re: Angora Patio
I'm seriously impressed. As much as I've always liked Nag, I personally think this could look by far the best release. I was initially confused as to how the sculpt had moved with this version from the rough, almost naif look to a highly detailed and more realistic one but seeing this paint job makes me drool. Long live Nag!

Wow! The paint job and sculpt are incredible, i don't think even nag haters can deny how talented Shigeru-san is.

Re: Angora Patio
sorry I'm going against ... I don't like it it is certainly well-executed but too much action figure. too many details, both in the sculpt and painting. lost the taste that I like of kaiju.

Re: Angora Patio
I think they said they are selling the heads seperately. Which means you just have to score a head, and then a bootleg.

I understand where you're coming from Dedo, I was thinking the same when I saw it unpainted but I must say that I find that the paint job looks superb (although I'd like to see this in hand to fully appreciate it).

Re: Angora Patio
It's meant to look like a Madball, not a kaiju, although the word "kaiju" is used to describe such a broad range of unrelated stuff that it is basically useless as a descriptive term.

Re: Angora Patio
I did not mean to say that you could not dislike it, only that it was inspired by one thing and not another.
It does bug me a bit that "kaiju" has become a catchall term for pretty much any vinyl toy that isn't a platform toy. If there was a scale with a D---y at one end and a Bullmark Godzilla at the other, most of the things described today as kaiju would be closer to the hated D---y.

It's like "Oh...it's not a D.nny. It must be kaiju cause it's a monster."

I prefer " sofubi" instead of Kaiju.
And this head is insane, and will be amazing as is if you can't get a body.
