Re: 1st ever, Zombie Proof House..
I don't think it's zombie proof. Here's why:
Even though zombies would probably move rather slow if hoards were descending on this home would it not take a bunch of people to get it locked down quickly? I take it you have to seal it manually with a turn lever right (kind of like a drawbridge)? That takes time even with a few people. If it's electric, what if the grid is down?! Oh knooossssssssss!

I don't know about that huge metal door. A good crowd can bust a hole in it get in then the people inside have no way out.

Re: 1st ever, Zombie Proof House..
Yeah, pretty good, but honestly it'd need to ascend some how to really do the trick, like be a tree house. Also there'd need to be self sustainable set ups, like the whole roof should be a garden and there should be solar panels and ways to harvest rain water etc. Not sure if it has solar power, I didn't read that much. As for weapons, meh, not TOTALLY needed. I mean a few maybe, but if the house were high enough and no zombies could reach it they'll just eventually rot so whatever. Plus if there's hoardes and hoardes you'd run out of ammo anyway.
Here's what's funny, I hate crowds and lots of people, but I hate isolated areas. I could never live there. I like to hide in the crowd.
