i should have to go in japan for my honeymoon in august but in quite scary about radiation
i know that some people of this forum is in japan now or will go there in this period. Can you tell
me something about the situation in tokyo now?

tokyo in august is very hot.

and extremely humid.

i know that, but if can survive to hot and humid weather, i dont know if i'm so strong to survive to nuclear fallout.

yeah it's kind of fucked up over here now, we have all grown tails and most of us have started melting as well

Mark, the sad thing is that many people really believe this is true.

Okay, well then let me just say. I have not actually grown a tail. The military has lifted their "Stop Movement" of inbound personnel and all the Family members that voluntarily departed due to the disaster have since been ordered to return if they so choose.
The conditions in and around the Tokyo area are safe. If you are planning on going up to the actual Plant for your honeymoon, I'd suggest not.

I was supposed to go this month but (not because of the quake/nuke plant) it got pushed back to probably Oct. But the US news coverage and it's short attention span just glosses over it and gives us "Japan=Chernobyl ZOMG! Back to the Royals and NFL Draft!" so it's not like it's just out there anymore.

The Reactor is now only emitting about 10,000 times what the government told us it was:
Each day around 70 tons of radioactive steam evaporates,
& about 100,000 litres of radioactive water is being pumped into the sea.

As long as you stay indoors (this shouldn't be a problem as you are on your honeymoon),
don't eat any fish or vegetables, and only drink bottled French water,
you'll be fine.

On another note, I have IBS and anger management issues
which are only exacerbated by the hot weather
and the sight of young lovers holding hands in public.
Add to this the fact that I hold human life in little to no regard generally
and, if I were you, I would steer clear of the Chuo Line in August.

And I'd include September. I was standing outside of Shinjuku Station and I kept thinking who the fuck is sprinkling water on my legs, turn out it was my own sweat trickling down my back.

i'm very serious about my question, i'm speaking about tail to make clear what i mean, if you are not worried about your live welcome
but for me is important.

Here in italy no one speaks about that situation so if you have a broken nuclear reactor few km from your home and you dont care about that welcome.

For radiation you dont die immediatly but several years later and will not very cool at 40 found a fantastic Cancer.

I love japan and i dont know if i will have other opportunity to go there for a mont.

I'm not sure if you are intentionally being insensitive or what? Because there are more than a handful of people on this board living in Japan and this is their home. So what you might be here a max. of two weeks and you are worried about the effects that will have on you? What about Alice? Radiation + heat not a very pleasant future for us huh?

And really is not a so absurd question, may be is not funny for you to know that
some one is worried about his safe, meanwhile people have to live there, and every day
fight to stand and in many case rebuild their life and cry their friends.

But you dont know me, for you i'm only a flow of letters pushed on a keyboard, and If you think that i'm not interested about japan people you wrong
i will be happy to help them and my travel should be my little help ( very very very little but man is not
so cheap coming in japan)

So, sorry man if i would like to come in your country and sorry if i take information about the

Whenever I plan out trips (either my kids or wife) I usually consult something other than a toy message forum. That's just me.

I thought it was a valid question; maybe everyone is not aware of exactly what is happening there? Where else will you be able to talk to people who actually live in Japan other than forums?

Anyway. Don't see what the need was to jump all over this fellow for asking.

I'm sure the grow a tail comment was in pretty poor taste considering how many board members have family and friends over there.

I'm happy to read that i'm not the only crazy monster in this forum. sure i can use better words to explain from the begining my question but
