It should. Awesome game!

I enjoyed the online component of this game, but at the same time, I wish you could do co-op from the beginning with a friend.
The multiplayer is there but beware as it's not like any other multiplayer: you can't just access it with your friends and go for it and can be annoying due to it's almost 'random' nature.

Having said this Demon's Souls remains overall IMHO the best PS3 game out there. If you loved Berserk (the manga) you'll probably find some of the same dark atmosphere here (without the sex), with one of the most unforgiving challenges currently on the market (that is until Dark Souls, the sequel, is released)... but I'm sure you've read about how difficult the game is.

Finished the Eldar campaign in Dawn of War II Retribution a couple weeks back. Haven't had time for much else.
Well, I guess I've been playing a little bit of Halo: Reach and Black Ops with the kid, but not to any consistent level.
Looking forward to playing through Portal2 co-op.

just picked up portal 2, but this psn being down is stopping me from really starting it up. I've been playing final fantasy IV on my psp though.

How is FFIV? I was really thinking about getting it but then I am still mad at Square since they still owe me €70 for FFXIII.

Gears 3 beta for the next three weeks. Trying to unlock a bunch of these weapon skins and character unlocks. lol Definitely a lot of fun though.

Seriously..I've been meaning to trade mine. What a fuckin letdown.

I traded a while ago and not missing it one bit. I played probably 20hrs and then decided to drop it, very repetitive. Not sure how the storyline continued but considering all the hype I was expecting a completely different kind of game (with a least a tad more freedom to move around and follow side missions).

I was pretty pissed once I realized there was no freedom at all. You couldnt choose your party. You couldnt choose what you wanted to equip, or who to equip with what. And the lack of world freedom was even more disappointing on top of all that. Plus I couldn't stand the overly cutesy annoying girl or the same 3 phrases they'd yell everytime you pulled a move.

Just finished Deadly Premonition on XBox 360. Such an enjoyable game, quirky characters, enough side quests to give it good replay value, and a very bizarre, sort of David Lynch-like story.

you can eventually chose your party and you do eventually get some sort of roaming freely(to finish some cl'sei quests)
what i cant stand about the game is that once your main character die you lose why cant my other medic raise them
the story is very bland and i really have no idea what is going on i just keep following the arrow to the next save spot(which there seems to be tons of) waiting till i beat this game then on to demon souls
has anyone played castlevania- lord of shadows played the demo and seemed pretty good

I'm a hardcore Castlevania nerd, and it was my first & only game for PS3 til MvC3 came out. I play it because it's Castlevania, but otherwise I probably wouldn't. I've never played God of War, or Shadow of the Colossus - but I know damn well enough that LoS features too much gameplay reminiscent of both those titles for me to be entirely happy with it. It takes a long time before it really feels or seems to be much into the Castlevania mythos, but whatever - if you tend to enjoy a good action platformer - this is certainly one. Meanwhile, I still play the shit out of the Castlevania titles on DS weekly.

Someone needs to try this out...

About time!! I can't believe we're all still offline. Not that I was ever a hardcore online player but for a company like Sony to leave millions offline for so many days... I was expecting them to be a bit quicker and more secure.

Besides this I wish I had some time to continue with Yakuza 3... tried Deathsmiles on XBox, was expecting higher resolution but overall the usual good bullet hell shooter from Cave.

Totally addicted to Demon's Souls now - in a bad way.
I'm not very great at it, but I can't stop playing. Certainly not the best game for an overly-cautious / timid player like myself

Certain multiplayer bosses on Demon's Soul can be a real pain With the current PSN outage you're probably better off playing offline!

PS3 crapped out on me a couple weeks ago with the 'YLOD' (Yellow Light of Death) and I haven't gotten around to fixing this. Was in the middle of playing Fallout: New Vegas when this happened... bummer...

As for gaming, I've been jumping back and forth between Mass Effect 2 and Fallout 3 on my 360.
