Re: RESTORE Does Sofubi for 2011.....!!
I love this sculpt, and I love that a guy with such a strong GK/resin background is branching out into sofubi. I'd like to see more of that- there are some kickass (and under-employed) GK sculptors in Japan that could do amazing things in this medium. I'm not totally sold on this particular color version, but I can't wait to see what Lulubell offers us... and I can't wait to see the face behind those papers!

Re: RESTORE Does Sofubi for 2011.....!!
Hah hah thanks Rich! ^_^
@ungawa222: The face is one of the secrets that RESTORE wants fan to see in person. The demon papers are easily removed, so you can display the figure with or without them. The figure has other secrets too, which Abe wants collectors to see first hand, so I'm afraid I can't drop any pics beyond what I've put out there.
But yeah the sheer amount of time and level of craftsmanship that went into this figure is impressive.

Love the figure, but not a fan of this colorway.

yeah, i love purple, but for some reason, this shade doesn't seem to work on this toy. maybe a bit too pink? Needs to go darker me thinks...

I really like the colorway, i think it fits the piece! wondering how much this bad boy is gonna cost, with all the custom made accessories I'm thinking it's gonna be over $300. I hope i'm wrong would knock that out of my price range.

7800Y is music to my ears. I was also worried it'd cost a fortune with all that work. Awesome.

Man! This is a must have for me without a doubt. Fingers crossed big time.
I am a big fan of all the little, hidden details in the Restore resins. So happy to hear that has been carried over into this vinyl version. Color=perfect.

I'll be curious to see if LuLu bell carries this - they were listed as a vendor. Marking my calendar for this bad boy!
